If you can band this early marriage for your people. You have done a great thing for the north and have written your name in gold but Yerima will give you a hard fight because it will affect him a lot as he will not be able to divorce the older ones and marry a twelve year old again.

He wants early marriage banned after getting marriage to 18years old girl in 2015... hypocrisy...

I DON'T KNOW WHY NIGERIANS ARE SENSITIVE TO RELIGION ISSUES.
Because the Muslims do nothing than religion especially in Nigeria. I personally growing up never know about religious crises. The only thing I know well then was types of religion in the world and it end there. But the activities of Muslims in Nigeria and around the world fuel everything on religion. People become more aware and sensitive on religious matter courtesy of Muslims agenda to spread via various means including jihads. So then religion start to occupy our mind rather than development. So Sanusi should understand what he is saying first. Last time one young girl was kidnapped they hide her in his palace which Sanusi is fully aware of so he and his likes should come up clean as talking alone is useless. They should stop forcing people to join Islam, stop killing, stop brainwashing and inciting teenage Muslims against other faith because they will grow up it. Focus on peaceful building of Islam without attaching other faith.

He is advocating against girl child marriage but got married to an 18-year old.. I know some people will say an 18year old is an adult but we all know that if that girl was given a choice and actually wanted to marry at that age,she would marry someone that is definitely not her father's age.

same thing as KANU Nnwankwo. he got married to an 18yr old lady. even ojukwu and Bianca age difference is 33yrs.
