O what period were you at Sickle Cell Foundation? Can you give a date? Who did you speak with and who told you your condition cannot be treated?

As much as people are being careful not to lose their money to scammers and that this story needs to be verified, I think the "detectives" here need to be a little sensitive while asking questions. Until proven otherwise please try to show some empathy to this op's predicament

He is a sickler diagnosed in 1989 or so. He does have ulcers on both legs.

Now EppPliss, the detail of your referral needs to be sorted out.
We need a proper referral from Dr David in Port Harcourt to the hospital in India. Which hospital is he referring you to? and to which consultant?
In short there's still a long way to go, but patience is virtue.
The hospital in Port harcourt/ Dr David needs to officially contact the consultant in India, they have to officially write the costs and breakdown of the procedure they plan to do.
I don't know how things work here, if TEHN has to get involved but I believe they should for accountability.

The person that saw him didn't remove the whole bandage on the ulcers because its quite dry, and there was nothing to wet it with. It would have bled if forcefully removed
