The Ibekwe guy is writting nonsense. Amnesty International had already announced that it has incontrovertible evidence that the Nigerian security agencies shot and killed unarmed IPOB. The Aba shooting is still on youtube, the Portharcourt shootings are are also on youtube for the world to see.

Despite the huge amount of evidence against it, the Nigerian Army shamelessly announced it would investigate the shooting. How can a participant in an examination also mark his papers?

How can a judge ajudicate a case where he is the accused? Can a detective investigate a case where he is a suspect?

The Nigerian Army should have supported independent investigation. It is an insult to any intelligent person for them to say they are going to investigate a case where they are the accused.

Amnesty international never said their evidence is "incontrovertible", that word is yours, Amnesty international brought to the notice of the world what they think happened, ostensibly swayed by the usual IPOB fake news, the commission of Enquiry will determine how authentic the news is. IPOB has lied, Amnesty bought it, as a responsible organisation, they encouraged the Nigerian government to investigate the issue, it behooves common sense for IPOB to go and prove their case beyond reasonable doubt, what did they do? they fvcking ran away!!
What do you expect from a group majorly constituted by traders who struggled to finish class 5?
For your information, the commission of enquiry is on a fact finding mission not a d!ck measuring contest, regardless of its verdict, IPOB will at least have an opportunity to bring forth its evidence to the world, The verdict will hinge more in the court of public opinion not the commission.

Why is it that when an Igbo man speak ill of the Igbo race and dream, he is praised by the those of the otherside, but when an Igbo man support his fellow kinsmen, he is cursed and hated by those on the yonderside. It is simple Nigeria is a tribalistic state, that each regions only seek the advancement of its region alone and not the advancement of the other, that is why i hate to be called a Nigerian. I am a proud Igbo man.
That's what many one Nigerian Igbos fail to understand... That in Nigeria when you do something awkward and people from ethnicities known to be hostile to yours praise you, know that you need to retrace your steps

The Ibekwe's arguement was biased, but truth is many Ibos, particularly the educated and those not resident in the east, do not want the Biafra thingy. For many reasons.. .
1. Ibos are too many
2. Ibos are too divided.
3. There is no land for expansion
4. The economy of the east cannot contain the high influx of more unemployed Youths it a new country is created.
5. Ibos are not united. Because with one voice and the number of Ibos in Nigeria, Nigeria should have had at least one Ibo president.

Personally I do not see how Biafra will change my life. Let me hustle like any other Nigerian. The suffering in Nigeria is affecting all of us. It is not peculiar to one tribe. Instead of dancing to the tune of ambitious politicians, and crying marginalization, we should be able to stand up for our rights. Blacks in America did not ask for a new black country, but stood up and demanded for equal rights with the whites. Running away has never solved any problem.

There is no proof anywhere in the world that Zik and Jaja Nwachukwu's efforts alone would have guaranteed Nigeria's independence at the time,
even if you want to lie to yourself, garnish it with a little intelligence.
The PAN African strategy actually won that independence for us, no sane man will attribute that success story to a solo effort.

Brilliant epistle written by an Afonja. D ibos are wiser now. OPC is filled wit gun tottin; igbo smokin, juju weildin & murderous eiye boys/agberos in it. Dey even went on parade wit guns and deir juju all ova lgos, but not a single shot was fired on dem by NPF or d Army. Not a single condemnatn by deir fooolish oba, nor any highly placed yoruba leader. Yet IPOB involve in a peaceful protest & dey R killed by security operatives yet one so-called "ibekwe" will cme & spill trash. Mtscheew it's obious dat u ain't ibo. Find ur roots boy. Evil is evil

Wen IPOB started many pple in d east called dem jobless efulefu's who wld later run outa relevance. Howeva wit continued killin, dey gained relevance up to amnesty intl level. Nobody will see his broda bein killed 4 a punishment offence & be happy. Ibekwe u're no ibo, bloody Afonja

Mind u that amnesty international won't be present on the investigative panel. Rather, it was instructed that the state governor( Willie obiano of anambra) should preside over the investigation,

now, tell me why u think that the investigation won't be biased?

The question you should ask is WHO divided us
On a one on one basis, most Nigerians don't have any problem with each other, but successive governments have fueled the tribalism that has divided us.

I was somewhere in the east sometime back, and the comments people were making there was just sickening

Amnesty International is a world respected institution because before they release a statement, they do a thorough investigation. Amnesty International has put a figure of about 150 unarmed IPOB killed.

You got it all wrong and I suggest you go to youtube and search 'Amnesty International' and 'Biafra' to get the authentic news. Amnesty even granted an interview after Brigadier Rabe Abubakar, Army spokesman, denied the Army killed anyone.

Amnesty international said it has over 80 videos, hundreds of pictures and many eyewitness accounts. How can the Army be investigating an allegation against its self? Who is fooling who? It should be an independent organisation with an unbiased view doing that.

The video evidence of the military and Army shooting unarmed IPOB at the High School in Aba is on youtube for all to see. The video of the Army shooting unarmed protesters in Porthacourt is there for all to see. Infact, in the Aba video, I saw a Nigerian Soldier shooting people running away, the Soldier ran out of bullets, he reloaded and kept firing at people running for dear life.

So intead of saying that IPOB is decieving Amnesty international, go and watch the video evidence on youtube first.
