You applied for a remark and still used the same inconclusive result for EA............how does that work bro, or am I not reading well ni?

Hahaha... I used my old IELTS result for EA assessment and the result also guaranteed me 10points as well. However, i recently wrote another hoping to get 20points from it but I had L/S/R/W as 8.5/8.5/9.0/6.5... Hence i want to remark it.

Kereoo! Kereooo!! Kereoooo!!!, This is to inform every family member here that mamajaz of chief bellong's Australia thread page on Nairaland has defeated IELTS arms down in the test which was conducted on 25th March 2017, LRW (7), S (7.5).
She can now confidently proceed to register with AHPRA.
I wanna register my thanks to the almighty God for connecting me with all efam members here.
Special thanks to bimsy ( the first person that counsel me to write IELTS, however, I stubbornly went after PTE-A the second time), Jamson, who sacrificed much to come and tutor me in Ilesha ( he came all the way from Akure), Bnimz who kept encouraging me all the way, Mctowel01 my tutor per excellent ( a no nonsense critic, who kept reading & correcting my wayo essays all along).
To my lovely sisters in the house, Utcheylee, we started the race for PTE-A, you kept supporting me all along, you're a noble woman, and I appreciate your doggedness. God in His unfailing mercies will say "Yes" to your dreams.
Sister, Teejay80 can't go for nothing less than a darling, supportive, loving, a wonderful counselor who when I told her that the IELTS woman was writing 5.5, 5.5, 6, 9, during my speaking, sister Teejay80 told me not to be moved by what I see...
Nkechima, I can't stop appreciating you, your soothing words were always timely.
I'm most grateful to everybody in the family for encouraging me when I was about giving up on English.
To this end I want to encourage all of us to keep shooting at the moon, so that we will land amidst the stars ( worst scenario).
Permit me to end this brief narration that "when a man's time has not come, the man is a FOOL".

Yes! Yes!!Yes!!!

Many thanks to Oga Bellong and other gurus in the house for this thread.

I have B.Tech. Electrical Engineering (Electronics opt) with 6 yrs plus in Telecoms as a field operations Engineer and my last 3 years plus as an equipment operator in oil and gas field in one of the multinationals.

I would like to be assessed as Telecommunications Engineer (263311) for 189. Would you advise i include my oil and gas experience which had almost nothing to do with telecoms as part of my work experience/ CDR episode? Please your assistance would be highly appreciated.

Write your CDR based on your Telecom experience.
Your CV will contain all other info.

My spouse is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and will be submitting documents for assessment (ANZSCO 234611) under Australia Institute of Medical Scientists.
The second stage requires that she passes the AIMS Professional Examination to practice. The only center in Africa is in South Africa.

Please, is it a must to write and pass the exam before she can get a positive assessment and PR will be granted or she can get the PR and write the exam when she arrives in Australia as a permanent resident.
Thank you.

Please note that we have contacted AIMS but was not given a direct answer but refered us to Australia Immigration.

GOOD DAY, THANK YOU FOR THIS POST. I AM A MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST, I JUST RECEIVED MY IELTS RESULT. I HAVE FEW QUESTIONS.

CAN MY REFERENCE LETTER BE TITLED TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN? CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I MAY NEED IT AT OTHER STAGES OF THE PROCESS.

WHICH COURT OF LAW IS THE BEST TO DO A CERTIFIED COPY OF MY DOCUMENTS?

THANK YOU.

Not a must. She can go with the MLT classification and seek for state nomination. The only wahala is if any state will be nominating it by the time she is ready.

Don't think it is a problem. Why not address it to aims, you can still use it for visa application.

Any notary public can do it.

Yes thanks doing that@PFA but there is a coy that did not have PFA docs so will need tax clearance for those.

@Cecegal,

Don't beat yourself over tax certificate. You can replace it with your pension fund documents.

Yes, you can bypass EA for the experience assessment.[/quote]
