The Teaching job is better for female.
>For male, be prepared to remain a teacher for life.
>If it's not a public school, just consider the Bank Job.
>And who tell you it's easy to get a lecturing job after teaching for years.
>Experience from Teaching does not count when moving to most jobs.
>Parents will never think of helping, it only take God's Grace to meet one.
>I'm sure most people advising to go for teaching has not been through it.
>Teaching in most private schools is also not different from a contract Job
> if you are still young the best is to start your career elsewhere before the age discrimination set in. You'll continue to teach till you are irrelevant in other sector.
>You can still leave other jobs and back to teaching without age discrimination

Teaching in private schools affords one no time, so many people don't know this.

Back to OP, it's a choice, if you're passionate about impacting knowledge then it's a no-brainer, Teaching it is.
But just as you asserted banking presents better opportunities, contacts, CV boosting et all. You didn't mention your course of study. The choice is yours, your affinity improves your ability.

I was a teacher and when I asked for a salary increase the proprietress actually told me, "do you know that teachers rewards are in heaven."
