Interesting thread. But all those claiming government conspiracy.. Do you mean to tell me that all the different regimes have subscribed to this idea of gross deceit? All I've been hearing and seeing from the flat earthers are assumptions.. Finding holes in the round earth theory and poking at those holes. Let one go to space and produce a picture of the flat earth to support their claims. The same people that told you about density also told you about gravity but you are deciding accept only one to support your claim. I know having knowledge is good but I just believe that the flat earth - round earth argument is one that is tricky and will always be argued..like the evolution - creation argument. So believe whatever you want to believe and let others have their own point of view. After all variety is the spice of life. Meanwhile whether the earth is flat or round, it shalln't affect the price of tomato in the market. Cos y'all do not see top entrepreneurs in the world bothering about NASA. I stop believing Round earth the the day I saw a Full sun at an angle and a half moon in opposite angle right above at about 5pm on a good sunday. We were thought that half moon result from earth casting shadow on the moon. I agree totally with the op's assertion, I was one of those gullibles of the so called science textbooks.what I believe it is, is that the earth is indeed flat shaped with "circular edges" the circular edges is the near 360 degree antarctic ice curvature. This gave rise to the hollow earth theory at the so called north and south pole( I dont believe those poles exist though, cos they are the same pole) the hollow earth is what a deciesive curvature which infact is not. Pls those arguing for the circular earth theory, open your mind, although nobody is forcing you to belive. Have you guys seen the film "matrix", we are put to sleep by different method of those in power. Believe it or not! Knowledge is power and they know this, that is why we were forced to be under hypnosis using different method, because the majority agrees on something does not makes it valid, we have been mass hypnotised for long. That is why we dont want to leave our comfort zone they placed us in. Take for example the live of jesus, nobody believed in him, not even his kindred they thought of him as mad. Someone from nowhere coming to displace long established mosaic law? They thought it as absurd and ridiculous, at the end of the day he was justified, even though some stl doubt his teachings. Read this books by dolores cannon "jesus and the essenes" you will be alarmed at the magnitude of intentional harm the church has done to the bible. Evidence has it in the book that jesus infact learned astronomy amd astrology and many ancient wisdom of the eesenic sect, but if you read literatures today, they branded them as heretics. Google qumran, rsearch more about it. And finally google admiral richard bryd expedition and you will be surprised why most of this things are hidden from us, the shocking exposition of admiral byrd discovery has been made secret by the us govt, no one has the fact except them. It is only his diary that gave us a clue on his discovery at the pole. Do you believe the nearer and farther you get to and from the pole, the more temperate it becomes( no one has explantion for this) but our science textbooks told us that the poles are mainly of ice and nothing more! Please read, research and challenge fact.
