edudguy:Spoken like an well mannered groomed fellow. Your parents will be proud of you. I'm proud of you.....so unfortunate there's to e-hug, woulda given u bunch of it. Nice one there bro |

edudguy:Edudguy you have spoken well. Ojukwu on the other hand had no choice. You are quite aware he explored the peace option 'Aburi Accord' only for Gowon and his northern masters to do a 360 degree on wat could v averted loss of lives. You can't be killing my people like chickens and expect me to fold my arms. They did wat dey had to do at the time. Instead of folding your arms and being killed you fight back. Meet violence with violence after all nobody has the monopoly of violence. Why Britain supported those murderous lunatics is still something I can't fathom. Sad, really sad |

raker300:Just look at you making a fool of yourself. It was a war. Were you expecting a war without casualties, where the enemy won't kill you because you're Igbo? Your mentality is Really juvenile. I swear. |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:10am On Apr 14, 2017 |
tifany89:Lolest. When the coupists killed politicians of other ethnic groups and dragged the corpse of the Sardauna on the ground while their kinsmen celebrated and jubilated in the North, I guess you expected every other person to fold their arms meekly and be moping about abi? Smh for you. |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:12am On Apr 14, 2017 |
raker300:Nothing in the picture suggests that. You're just making up stories to fit the picture. |

edudguy:On point boss! seems this new generation is hell bent on war....my dad fought in that war and had sleepless nights because of the horrors he saw. my fellow youths dont pray to witness war, I grew up in kaduna where sectarian/religious crisis is the other of the day...a crisis of one day causes so much havoc that it will take years to recover. Please Nigerian youths (mostly the ones from the major tribes ) shun this blame game of who is wrong or whos right . We suppose to live better lives than our fathers, not continuing their hate in these times . #NOTOWAR |

raker300:Provide proof that they saw it as a war on Christianity. Playing the victim card again, I see. Most of you forget that Gowon, the military head of state at the time is Christian, ditto Awolowo whom most of you think starved Biafra to death, ditto the Yoruba generals that crushed the opposition, people like Obasanjo etc. They were all Christians, so I wonder How your small mind could imagine it was a religious war? |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by tifany89(m): 8:22am On Apr 14, 2017 |
ElsonMorali:Mr man shattap dere and educate yourself. As at 1966 the war hasn't started. Tomorrow now u will claim u r graduate why u don't even know anything. It's pathetic to see people argue over things dey know nothing about. If u don't even know when the war started den it's obvious any other opinion u hold will be stupid, null and void. Respect yourself by keeping quiet |

| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by tifany89(m): 8:24am On Apr 14, 2017 |
ElsonMorali:Pick up books and read. Google is even there. "Why we struck" by your yoruba brother Ademoya will give u an insight . |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:27am On Apr 14, 2017 |
raker300:Hmm... I see. So when you killed Nigerian troops, it was a war you were fighting, but when Nigerian troops killed Biafran troops, that was a pogrom and ethnic cleansing Abi? Continue your tomfoolery... |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by tifany89(m): 8:29am On Apr 14, 2017 |
Godfullsam:Shut it already. Ojukwu didn't start anything. People who fought and died in that war were all eager to fight. Most of them had relatives who had been killed in the pogroms and all the violence against Igbos in the north. Ojukwu was only a rallying factor afterall he didn't force anybody to fight. Plz educate yourself coz u r just embarrassing your family here. Too many illiterates on nairaland. Reading books wld v saved us this embarrassment |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:31am On Apr 14, 2017 |
raker300:Can you point to the part of the picture that suggests that Nigerian soldiers destroyed Umuahia after they captured it? Or How did you know by just looking at the pictures that civilians that surrendered were killed? The same propaganda machine that people like Chinua Achebe employed during the to the detriment of the Igbo commoners, while the elite Igbos were feeding fat on the food and material aids given by red cross and caritas. |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:35am On Apr 14, 2017 |
tifany89:Look at this one o. Lol. Probably born in the early 21st century, probably 2001, blabbing about things that happened in 1966/67 like he was there. Your parents lied to you, partly because their own parents lied to them. You want to keep playing the victim, be our guest. Nobody gives a crap about your victim display anymore. We know you Well enough. |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by tifany89(m): 8:36am On Apr 14, 2017 |
ElsonMorali:Shut up, this guy u r just so dull for my liking but I will try and school you. Fighting between troops is not the problem but killing/bombing of civilian populations. Violence against women and children. There is something called war crimes / crimes against humanity and dat was what the invading Nigerian sides did. When they saw they couldn't defeat the determined Biafran forces even with their lesser forces and ammunitions, the ever brutish Northern army had to resort to bombing of civilian populations, churches, markets, schools even red cross centers and shameful of all starvation. Anybody who supports this or see nothing wrong with it is sick and can engage in cold blooded murder. In terms of combatants, it's on record the Nigerian side suffered more casualties |

ElsonMorali:If you call Awolowo a Christian then Christianity is in big trouble how does answering a Christian name make one a Christian |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by ElsonMorali: 8:38am On Apr 14, 2017 |
tifany89:Obviously you haven't made use of the resources you are asking me to read. So why not do yourself a favour and take your own advice instead of fooling around online trying desperately to sound intelligent because, to be honest with you bro, it ain't working. ![]() |
| Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by tifany89(m): 8:47am On Apr 14, 2017 |
ElsonMorali:So some group of persons plans a coup and den u go about killing his kinsman? Guy u r very shallow. See let me tell you what happened had nothing to do with any coup, it was just an excuse for dem to carry out killings out of deep seated hatred. The fact u support such shows u r just an excuse of a human being. Dude fuckoff |

tifany89:Let's assume for a moment that what you posted up there is factually correct (it isn't by the way), point out to me where the casualty figure of a war was already predetermined before the start of the war, in history of mankind? You guys are either dumb or naive like your leader Ojukwu. Oh I see, you thought war was going to be like the ones you play on your PlayStation or the ones you watch on movies where the people will be killed and you'll see them alive in some other movie a week later? Ehya... How old are you anyways? Is this probably the reason you guys are angling for another war? I feel so much pity for you. Really, I do. If you want to have a honest view of what happened during the civil war, pick up this book, "The Tragedy of Victory" by Alabi Isama. It's got lots of pictures, thousands of them. Hopefully If the words are too big for you to digest, you'll have pictures to fall back on. This thread is dull and dumb. Only unitelligent people will take this thread seriously. Your kind will want to come here and feel good about this after all you guys love playing the victim. |

kettykin:I'm sure you call yourself a Christian, yet you lie and fornicate and insult people online. Is that what Jesus Christ taught you in your own Christianity? The Igbos owe Awolowo a huge debt of thanks. They just don't know it yet. They are blinded by sentiments and misinformation. I won't hold my breathe though. |

Nobody should please castigate the OP for this thread, he is indirectly telling those IPOB miscreants what could befall them in another war. Kids who had never seen a riot and shouting for a war should be pityed and not scolded, they need education on the ills of war. Anyone who's experienced one never prays for another war even not for his enemies but these kids already brainwashed by hate think they can sit in the comfort of their bed and visit social media, updating pix and videos in a war. Advice them to go ask their parents and grandparents who experienced the last war about the movie of 1969-70, maybe that would make them understand |

tifany89:Shut and stop saying what you do not know, Ojukwu started it all....he mobilised his people to go to war. When he got more than he bargained , the coward ran away leaving his people to die helplessly. |
