as far as the screen is not broken and free from scratches that is OK by you and also working perfectly. you are good to go.

My advice is you get another laptop or try changing the motherboard to Intel. Dont bother trying to repair it because the problem will surely come back.

I have Dell XPS M1530. Sometimes, when the laptop is powered, it dispays on the screen and sometimes it doesn't display. Any solution to initiate this problem? Also, my battery is dead and it goes off when power supply is cut off

My laptop, a Lenovo T430 got a bit of water splashed on the keyboard by mistake. Now the engineer I gave it to said the keyboard has been damaged and need to be replaced including the powering software. He said the Keyboard may cost as much as 5 or 6k being an old model. Is laptop keyboards that expensive or the technician won bobo me. He's also charging 4k for the damaged software that powers the laptop. Yet am still gonna pay an additional 4k for his services!!. Am I being swindled.

As for the keyboard, it is that expensive. Lenovo keyboards are among one of the most expensive.

The only area I don't get is the powering software. I have never heard that before. As for the 4k charges, that is also fair

Tried charging my laptop yesterday morning but it wasn't charging,so I took the adapter to a radionic and I was told its now beyond repair,I immediately went to buy a tokunbo one as its more stronger so I plugged in and it was charging,after an hour I went back to on it and after few seconds it went off and won't on or charge again,so I removed the charger,took out the battery and insert it again without putting the charger this time and it came on and went off again,after much thoughts I decided to insert my first abandoned battery that drains quickly and it was working fine,after a while I discovered the 10% on d battery as now decreased to 6% instead of increasing,now it 0% and won't move past that,once I remove the charger it goes off,I already took it for repair at my area but the guy said I should get a new battery but I don't think that's the cause since it works same way with my 2 batteries,pls help me out with the problem as am already thinking of taking it to Ikeja on Tuesday since there is holiday and I have lots to do on it.

Note: after leaving the first radionic I took the charger to another one again and he also said the same thing but he tried working on 2 of the adapters with him but they didn't work so am thinking that might also be part of the problem.
