Please, i need guidance for my sister on assessment as Agricultural Consultant with VETASSESS.
1. She had a BSc in Agricultural Economics and Extension (5yrs programme) and she works as Agric Extension Officer but less than 1 year. How many number of years experience is required by VETASSESS for positive assessment? I have search their site but haven't come up with the answer.

2. Is Tax clearance a must because i see it as part of required documents or will payslip be enough.

3. Can you share the JD you use for your assessment. I will PM you on this.

4. I will love to have any other info that you deem necessary on this.

Thanks

She requires at least one year work experience.
Payslips and Pension statement should be enough
Send me a pm. Wil forward a sample of JD used.
Just ensure you prepare n submit as much evidence possible
Employment letter, Promotion if any, Reference letter etc.

Unfortunately, obtaining a positive assessment is minimal. For your husband have a positive assessment as an HR Adviser, his core job function(s) must be in Human Resources management or HR admin. Another major requirement is a one-year post-qualification experience after obtaining the Masters in HRM
.

Thank you ma. he is of the opinion that his result in masters will be back dated. lets wait for the masters first and see how to proceed.
He has post graduate diploma in education too,do you think we should try that option?

sir qarex,i appreciate your contribution sir.

Please, i need guidance for my sister on assessment as Agricultural Consultant with VETASSESS.

1. Her 5yrs BSc in Agricultural Economics & Extension is perfect for the occupation. But a minimum of one year in a highly relevant field is required. Less than one year won't do

2. It's not a must. Her payslip or bank statement will suffice. I used only payslips for mine and it was ok. I included the first, last and a couple in the middle.

3. Ok

4. For the employment requirement, if her NYSC was in the same field, she can include it to meet the one year minimum requirement. In this case a good reference and her bank statement will do.

Hello everyone,

I submitted my EA assessment some weeks back using standard method but I just fast tracked it today. When I checked my status on EA website, no update whatsoever has been made as per the fast track, and my status is still showing queued for assessment with the previous application date.

Please is this normal? Has anyone experience this? Or na oyo I dey?

Your responses will be highly appreciated.

I experienced same, it's normal.......you can call them to confirm the fast track though.

Hello all,my able oga's in the house,@oga bellong, Bnimz, jamson, izkvision and everyone that has had their grant,I need you advice.when I was filling e-medical form,I answer for hubby that he has never had TB,and I tick NO.during our visit to IOM,doctor asked if he had TB in the past and hubby said yes,had 20 years ago during pre medical for school admission, treated for 3month,later went back for x-ray he was cleared of TB.My questions are (1) filling NO in the e- medical form submitted online and hubby answering yes during medical interview, won't it result to false information. (2) when one had been treated for TB in the past, recent x-ray can pick the scar/calcification.Won't this affect ones grant? I need advice from this great family,as this is given me some sort of concern.

Hello my people, I am at the stage where i need to get my credentials and work experience evaluated by the Australian Computer Society. They require reference letters from my previous places of employment. I had previously obtained similar letters from my three previous employers for a Canada application. Here's my dilemma: Given that the information required by the ACS is the same, can i submit the letters I got from my previous employers (addressed to the Canadian Immigration Authority) for the assessment by the Australia Computer Society? Has anyone experienced something similar?

I will advice you apply for new letter for this purpose. When I assessed with ACS I used a letter with "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN"
Since the letters were addressed to the Canadian authority, I don't think it's a good idea to use it.

Not as you see it. I have read somewhere on this thread that there are some parts of our CV that is not relevant when preparing an OZ CV. Need to edit mine for VETASSESS.
Thanks

Bros, apart from ensuring it is addresses to Australia and not Canada or using to whom it may concern instead, please ensure the Job description matches that of the Anzsco you are nominating, both DIBP AND ACS have given job descriptions to each occupation and ACS states that there has to be about 80% match to get a positive assessment, please ensure this is done and don't just use a generic letter.... It is very important.

My Oga am not sure o. But I know his HAP could have returned with more test items rather than the regular medical check and HIV if he had answered yes to TB.

Now IOM will report the TB issue and the panel or CO will most likely call for additional tests.

I think teejah80's concern is not about CO's contact but if the inconsistency can lead to refusal.

@teejah80 just download the form and correct the info stating that you filled the online form on behalf of your husband and made a wrong assumption ni.

Tricky one. For Nigerian mobile numbers, 0 (zero) will do; while for land lines it varies with states e.g. 01 for Lagos and 084 for Port Harcourt.
So, I use the format below to fill such +234 (0) 803 xyz xxxx corresponding to country code (area code) and number

The address doesn't matter as long as the content is in line with ACS reference letter requirement. You are good to go.

But If otherwise by as low as 5%, I strongly advise that you should get a new letter to fit ACS requirements by 100%.
Leave nothing to Chance.

I think 1 and 2 are same, just that your boss is required to fill the employers template, while you will write same but in your own words in the application form. Just structure your JD to match what is in Anzsco for the occupation, but not directly same. BTW I sent you a pm. Reply pls.
