no, that's not counseling, it's being a control freak like the marriage is all about the church. It's not, at best it's about the couple and God. The church has no business making such decisions. Counsel them and let them make their decision without pressure, as long as they aren't breaking God's laws.

Everyone would carry his own load so why presume to know what should be part of the load?

they are adults, they should decide for themselves. Religious bodies just like to control the lives of their memebers.

simple, i dont have time to think of at least 15 types of men to avoid, not that i cant, why would i do that when i know it would only cause strife on the forum between men and women. You should finish what you started and balance things out if not it would be safe to assume that you are a misogynist. Plus if i did the alternate post, i would come up with at least 25.

Errrm you know you're funny right? Going on and om about misogynist, lol. If you look at the article carefully, a link was provided which shows I'm not the author of the article. I only share here cos I knew it'll generate interesting debate. I didn't author a single letter of the write-up. I believe the article has some truths to it, however it shouldn't be taken as the Gospel on relationships hook, line and sinker.

After all,person talk say lazy girl na somebody sweetheart or something like that.A man who is irresponsible will most likely attract such women bottom line (I feel weird saying bottom) guys who can't deal should run away from such women. That's one illusion,most men have in their brain. They feel they can change a woman to what they want. But news flash! And sorry to burst y'all bubbles. No man can change a woman except she is ready to change into the second character playing in her brain.. Not the make believe illusions some men are visualizing on.
Either accept her the way she is and advise her subtly and jokingly to be a better person or jejely move on to another lady u are compatible with.

that ur number 2 about a lady having poor esteem on her self.... u can correct her by complimenting her on her beauty all the time or u tell her the right clothes to wear that will bring out her beauty.if u do that she will have her self confidence back.some guys sha be body shaming their own wife or girlfriend..calling her fat b1tch or whale etc.if u do that all the time why wont she have esteem issue.it would be better to tell her in a reasonable manner to shed off some pounds if shes too obese.

Here are the types of women who will mess any man up in a relationship. If you are dating any of these women you are headed for trouble. And if you are married to one, I pray for you.

1. The woman who is quarrelsome.

The book of Proverbs in the Bible has a lot to say of the quarrelsome woman. In Prov 21:9 and Prov. 25:24 we read: “Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.” It is interesting that the two verses have the same wording.

In Prov 21: 19, this is what the Bible says about the quarrelsome woman: “Better to live in a desert that with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.”

Finally Prov. 27: 15 says: “A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day; restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand.”

So who is a quarrelsome woman? When we think of a quarrelsome woman we think of the woman who is noisy and combative. But there is a second type of quarrelsome woman. This is the woman who will not come at you with insults and angry words but you can live in the same house with her and she will ignore you or refuse to talk to you or refuse to acknowledge your presence for as long as she wants just because she is angry with you. And in most cases she will not even tell you why she is angry with you. You can never know peace with her even though she is not exchanging angry words with you.



2. The woman who does not love herself/has a poor self-image.

In Prov 30:21 -23, the Bible says there are three things the earth trembles under and four the earth cannot bear up. One of these is an unloved woman who is married. In other words, a woman who does not love herself or has a poor self-image who gets married.

A woman with a poor self-image does not and cannot believe that you love her and no matter how much love you show her, she will continue to doubt your love and demand that you prove your love every day. She will accuse you of cheating on her even when you are not and she will accuse you of intending to dump her one day even when it has never crossed your mind.



3. The woman who is immoral.

There is a woman the Bible describes as immoral or wayward. This is the woman who has no fear of God in her and for whom there is nothing sacred about sex. Casual sex is her game. She is attractive, seductive and smooth. The Bible also calls her the adulteress because even when she is married, she still plays her game.

The immoral woman uses her sexuality to manipulate, dominate and control men. She is the kind who gets into a company and targets all the key managers or directors, seduces them and floors them to get what she wants.

In describing what it is to relate to this woman, the Bible says, “Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?” The Bible’s advice against such a woman is this: “Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes.” (Prov 6:20-7:27).



4. The woman who is angry and bitter with men.

There are women who are very bitter and angry with men. For some, it began with anger over the way they saw their father treat their mother and she has vowed to herself that she will never allow any man to do to her what her father did to her mother.

Then there are also women whose anger and bitterness at men has to do with a love relationship that went terribly wrong. A man they related to and to whom they gave their all trampled on their love and threw them away. Now, they are on a crusade and a mission – to make every man pay for the error of those men. Marriage to such a woman is hell because you will be made to pay for sins you have not committed.



5. The proud and arrogant woman.

This is the woman who believes that she is too good for any man. She has no respect and she thinks she did you a favour. She thinks you don’t deserve her and even though it may not come out in her words, it comes out in her attitude.



6. The woman who only wanted a marriage and a child.

It may sound strange to you but there are women who just want the respectability of being married but they do not want nor need a husband. They also go into marriage just for the sake of getting children. So once they get children from marriage, they no longer have any use for a husband and from that point on they treat their husbands with disdain and contempt.



7. The woman who is angry and bitter with God.

We have talked about the woman who is angry at men; well, there are also women who are angry with God. They believe that God has let them down and they in their own way are out to get revenge on God.



8. The woman who cannot say I am sorry.

There are women who will rather die than say they are sorry. Call their attention to something they have done wrong and they respond by referring to something you also might have done wrong some time ago and it does not matter how long ago your case was.



9. The woman who was raised by a mother or an auntie who did not respect her husband.

We often underestimate the influence of those who raise us on us. Women who are raised by a mother or auntie who did not respect their husbands tend to behave in the same way towards their men.



10.The woman who wants to keep up with the Joneses.

If you want to know how life with a woman like this will be, then I suggest that you watch Mrs Hyacinth Bucket in the British sitcom, Keeping Up Appearances. This kind of woman is often from very humble or poor background but she does things not because she can afford them but because they project her as wealthy. To this end, she pushes her man to do things that make a statement of prosperity whether the man can afford them or not. And when she pushes her man and he refuses to go along with her, she simply raises the funds herself from her own resources or she just borrows to keep up appearances.



11.The woman who clings too tightly.

This is a very insecure woman who is scared to lose her man. So, she is a constant fixture by his side no matter what he is doing or where he is going. Even in his office, everyone knows her because she is always there. She stifles her man all in the name of love. And she is suspicious of any woman who comes anywhere near her man. She is manipulative and controlling and she has a lot of tricks to control her man. For instance, if her man is going somewhere she cannot follow him or she does not want to go, she will immediate fall critically ill to force him to stay home with her.



12.The woman who is a drama queen.

A drama queen is a woman who over-reacts to issues and can get very violent and abusive even in public. She is the kind who demands absolute attention and when she is not getting it, she can go overboard in demanding for it. This is the woman who can pour a drink on her man at a party or in a restaurant simply because she thinks he is looking at another woman. Slapping her man comes easy to a drama queen and insulting and disgracing him in public are no big deals for her. This is the woman who can open the door of a moving car to get out simply because she is angry with her man.



13.The woman who has only sex to offer her man.

There are women who have nothing but sex to offer a man. They don’t know how to keep a home; they don’t know how to affirm a man; they don’t know how to cook or they hate cooking; they don’t know how to talk to a man but they will give you great sex. That is all they have but in the long term, that is woefully inadequate for any man.



14.The woman who spends money as if you pick it from the street.

This is often a woman who has never worked a day in her life. She has never known what it is to manage a budget and so for her, as long as she sees money, it must be spent. For them, money has no value and so they spend money as if their men pluck them from trees. The frustrating thing with this type of woman is that she can never tell you what she spent the money on.
