I wonder what kind of God will leave His Holy Ghost fire even if there is anything of such in the hands of an imperfect man that cannot fully decide a matter from his imperfect standpoint.

If the person you deem to be an enemy from your own standpoint is God's friend nko? Tell or give the reasons why such requests will be granted.

If Christians wage spiritual warfare the tools they need to counter such are readily available.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 6:14 Stand therefore, having your LOINS GIRT about with TRUTH , and having on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS ; 6:15 And your FEET SHOLD with the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE; 6:16 Above all, taking the shield OF FAITH , wherewith ye shall be able to QUENCH all the FIERY DARTS of the wicked. 6:17 And take the HELMET of SALVATION , and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF of GOD:

the holyghost can do all things
It's the "holy spirit" no such thing as "holy ghost." Kindly check the meaning in the encyclopedia or Google it. The term "holy ghost" was/is used in (KJV) and was later changed(corrected) to "holy spirit" in the (NKJV). Remain blessed

There is this pride and imbued arrogance that since you are Christian you can do an undo. Go back and read your Romans 12. See below for key highlights

Romans 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

How well do you understand verses 18,19,21 for those that says ''sit down look approach'' against your enemy does not sound biblical?

How will you cross reference retaliating against your enemies when Jesus said fear not those that kill the body but cannot destroy the soul? Matthew 10:28. Abi wetin the enemy wey you rain holy ghost fire upon wan kill?No be the body alone? Una no get faith in the resurrection hope again? Abi wetin christ die for? Afterall if your enemies kill you na only body dem kill. God will resurrect you later.

E jowo e ma gba ise Olorun se. Olorun wipe ti ohun ni esan. Ohun yoo san. Allow God to carryout his vengeance not you raining fire on those you perceived inaccurately as enemies from your own standpoint but from God's standpoint they might have a good standing.
Be peaceable with all men the scriptures admonishes with a HUGE CLAUSE as far as it lieth or depends on you. Those YOU PERCEIVED as enemies, have you on your part, reached out to strike a peace pact or deal before you start raining holy ghost fire on them?

Holy Ghost fire is biblical. Ask Elijah...

Psalm 11:6 says ; Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Where is the holy ghost fire from your quoted verse now?

So much confusion in religion. Christians do not even know the nature of their God that they worship.

Now she wants clarification using Bible Reference when that religion itself do not have the answers and the Bible was interpreted in such a mundane way that it does not make sense.

If you want True answers to your questions then remove the caveat that answers must be from Bible. If you are ready to accept answers from Quantum and Digital Physics, I can give you straight answers that will give you multiple orgasms in your soul.

1. What do you think Jesus will do?

2. Do you want to be like Jesus?

3. Do you trust that God will do what's right?

4. Do you wish to see people saved, even those who you feel don't deserve saving?

The answers to these questions, will let you know, if you should wish your enemies dead, holy ghost fire or otherwise.

Nice!!!

Luke 9:51-56
51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Emphasy on verses 54 & 55 when the disciples requested to pray the way the OP mentioned and note Christ response. This is the answer please. It's wrong to pray such, love is the key which conqueres all.
Re: Is it right to pray "Holy Ghost, Fire!" Against Enemies? by arrestdarrester: 3:24am On Apr 17, 2017
It is not a matter of whether it is right or wrong to pray such prayers. The question is 'has God been answering such prayers'?

If God has been answering such prayers, who are you to judge? If He has not been answering such prayers then why are you bothered?

The two-edged sword given to the saints is not for decoration. It is for deployment to save the ignorant on one side and to judge the wicked on the other.

Luke 9:51-56. As time drew near when Jesus would be taken up to heaven, he made up his mind and set out on his way to jerusalem. He sent messengers ahead of him, who went into the village in samaria to get everything ready for him. But the people there would not receive him, because it was clear that he was on his way to Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw this, they said. Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them? Jesus rebuked them. Them Jesus and his disciples went on to another village. The truth is that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. It is not right to call down fire on enemies, Jesus didnot encourage it, but you can call fire upon powers of the enemies and powers of darkness.

Please quote a new testament text to support your claim. Elijah was not a christian. We christians follow the doctrine of christ. You cannot stubbornly stick to the practices of Judaism and expect to be called a christian.

Christ is the standard for Christians. Please quote bible text to support where he admonished christians to pray thus.

U are very correct but it's the "holy spirit" and not "holy ghost." The term "holy ghost" was used in king James' version (KJV)of the Holy Bible but was later rectified to "holy spirit" in the New king James' version (NKJV). "Ghost" and "Spirit" are not the same in meaning (check the dictionary or the encyclopedia for clarification) God bless u as u do so
stop confusing yourself. The first translation from the Greek version uses "ghost" which was old English. Not modern British English. What you have is further translation nothing like "Rectification"

No translation is superior to the other

ghost (n.)
Old English gast "breath; good or bad spirit, angel, demon; person, man, human being," in Biblical use "soul, spirit, life,

Holy Ghost- a reference for Angel Gabriel. As he was often times referred to. Angels at made from light, men from clay, jinns from fire.

God is the He who blesses all in this world and selects whom to bless in the hereafter.

Everyone is somebody's enemy. Go ye to the world and be enemies of one another..

Spend more time and pray to your own progress (stop been obsessed with your enemy- God will still bless them). Spend more time praying to God and not His Messenger.

I still remember vivdly, this issue raised by the op was where my spiral into questioning religion kicked off. I remember asking myself and then a pastor this question. I was 17 years old then, whenever a prayer point for our enemies to die was raised, I silently prayed in my heart for GOD to forgive them and cause them to change. I had a sense of judgement right from when I was young, it is 6 years later now. I believe if GOD exists, it was him that made me agnostic, I absolutely have no doubt about that. I was created to reject confusion.

That's why Jehovah's Witnesses will never pray for enemies to die. Rather, they pray that God touches the heart of their adversaries.
Re: Is it right to pray "Holy Ghost, Fire!" Against Enemies? by Nobody: 7:11am On Apr 17, 2017
I think the confusion lies in the usage. There is nothing like 'Holy Ghost fire'. It is written that God is both merciful and 'a consuming fire'. He also says 'I kill and I make alive', so when engaging in warfare prayers, we should use 'fire of God', and not 'Holy Ghost fire' because when the Holy Spirit descended on men on the Pentecost, He came in the form of 'cloven fire'. It transformed the disciples, not destroy.

Anyone saying we should pray for our enemies is living in ignorance. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not intend for us to be turned to suya by this wicked ones. Stay there let them finish you and waste your destinies, you hear? Fire of God destroy any destiny waster opposing my manifestion! angry

I will NEVER pray for God to touch my adversary because He will show mercy unto whom He will, and forgive those who He will. Stay there praying for them while they are turning your lives upside down. If you have ever encountered unbelievably wickedness in the physical and spiritual dimension then you will not sit down praying for God to touch wicked people who have sold their souls to the devil. They are of the devil who uses them to fulfil his threefold ministry: kill, steal and destroy.

Now the people became like those who complain of adversity in the hearing of the LORD; and when the LORD heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.

You quoted the bible out of context. The fire came as a result of Israelites sinning against God by there complaint. Moses helped the people out. Num 11:2
