99% of Nigerian Men are confused egoistic, insecure hypocrites!. I can type that again If need be in slow motion. They want to dominate, control,organize , oversee , dictate and direct the other gender's life yet they complain, wail and ask what the woman brings into marriage / relationship.

When a woman is below them, they trample on her, when she's above them, she becomes a threat to their existence. Then I ask, what do men want?. Aren't they just confused babies after all?

The fact of the matter is that MOST men will NOT be comfortable with their wife earning more than them. There is a sense of masculinty that men get being the main financial support for their familes. Now that doesnt mean a woman should take advantage of the fact that she earns more. But hey, such is life.

When i talk about not dating 'broke men' it falls back to this. You cant tell me this is the 21st century, and women are the financial providers these days. It takes a very strong emotionally stable man to withstand his wife making more than him. Women want to naturally feel like their being taken of regardless of their own financial status, so in the end it may cause problems. Its the truth, and i dont care what anybody has to say.

I want you to know that this is not only limited to men being intimidated by their wives richer than them. Some men naturally don't want to see people excel more than them in life. It could be their friends, neighbours, family members, etc

However there are rules to making sure you dont become a wuss
1. dont collect her money. No matter how she tries to offer you dont collect. Women can be funny. One minute they tell you " baby whats mine is yours" when you start collecting she will turn around and call U a bum. However important stuff like the kids school fees she can pay IF she offers
2. same goes for her car. Dont drive it even if its sitting idle she has travelled and you need to move around. You are better off getting on okada/keke. She might give you the keys, let you drive but the moment you break one headlight or scratch the car na different tory
3. Dont be too bossy. The golden rule: he who has the gold makes the rules . You might want to be more diplomatic when dealing with her
4. work hard to get on your feet . Let the points 1-3 be your motivation

I never used to have issues with a woman having a little more cash than her partner. Most men don't take it well. A woman is hardly ever humble, nice or submissive enough. Funny enough many women dont have a problem with rich men trampling all over them and treating them like dirt. they even coined a statement to back this up "better to cry in a BMW....." . The few times you see a woman protest against the rich man is if he stops paying up
