Brodie is still defending those people If I were Westbrook, I'll just turn into Lebron, be a coach and trade people. I'll start issuing threats: "If you don't get 3 offensive rebounds in this game, I'll trade you" "Your target is 16points. If you score 15, you're heading to the D-league. Try me" "I told you not to miss more than 2 free throws, you missed 3. Although we won by 20points but read my lips, you're going to China, you motherfucker" "You blocked me on twitter but can't even block one shot? You're going to Slovakia " 1 Like |

A40:when WB repeat this same performance next season "dragging" OKC to another 40 win season/first round fodder we better hear this same song. |

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:08pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:I'm just saying don't pin their incompetence on Westbrook. Westbrook will not teach Roberson how to shoot free throws. Neither will he teach Kanter defense or make Oladipo play like a top 5 pick. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:14pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
A40: Naah fam. Néné is bang average barring the injuries. I am also sure his previous playoffs career high would not be close to the 28/10 he did yesterday. And D'Antoni is great with players that work with his only system. Some may even call him a one-trick pony. Not taking anything away from him but was just pointing out how Anderson and Gordon were not helping Anthony Davis get to the playoffs consistently when they were with the Pelicans but the system under D'Antoni works for them. In the same breath, I expected Billy Donovan to have devised a system to work with the scrubs at his disposal but it appears he settled for the "Give RW and Step out of his way" system. It has backfired in the playoffs because of the adjustments coaches keep making after every game and I think the scrubs are having a hard time knowing what to do with the ball when Russell is resting. Never argued that the OKC roster was stacked - far from it. My argument has been that D'Antoni deployed a system that lifted the performances of his bench but Donovan did not do that at all. We have all agreed that Kanter and Adams were alot better last year especially in the playoffs. Roberson always struggled offensively but his defensive game gets him starts. Mcdermott is a decent 3-point shooter (I might throw a Sabonis in too) &Taj can play under the rim a bit. Oladipo was rated number 48 best player when the season began and in rhythm he can touch a few teams. Not saying they are championship ready but how bad they are when RW is offcourt has to be on the coach. |

Eruditor:Lol if you don't know Nene just bone. Don't go outside and list McGee in the same breath. They would laugh you out of the room. Nene was a 14pt and 7 reb guy before Harden entered the league Every coach has their system. The better the players the easier they execute. Some of the most enjoyable basketball I've seen were by a team coached by D'Antoni. They couldn't possibly help Davis cos they were always injured Aside Game 1 OKC has competed in every game. Difference is Westbrook has to play perfectly, Harden can be average and guys like Nene, Gordon, Lou Williams would still bail him out. Donovan can't be responsible for Roberson shooting 2/12 FT. Oladipo is supposed to be the #2 guy. What is his shooting like? Who rated Oladipo #48 btw? That person must be smoking and sniffing used diapers. He is not a top 50 player Adams has been playing like a D-League guy too. While we are lampooning Westbrook and Donovan let's not blame them for other players flat out not doing their job |

Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:49am On Apr 25, 2017 |
A40: Nene plays more minutes and has done so for most of his career than Javale. His buckets don't they come from alley-hoops and dunks? Free throws? Is that not what Javale does? You are saying it like he fade's away like Dirk or bullies teams in the paint like Prime Shaq or has sleek footwork and moves like Hakeem. Besides, Harden has played just one 16pt game in this series that ended up in a W for his team. His other games have been 37, 35 and 40 or so and his team lost in his 40 point game. |

Milwaukee Sucks. Another average Toronto team going to face Cavs now only to get swept. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:08am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Eruditor:Have you asked yourself why Nene was getting more minutes? Nene was a standing starter for a playoff team. And Nene is more than a dunker or alley oop guy. I'm convinced you don't know this dude for you to even compare him to McGee. He has excellent footwork and a good jumper. Dirk, Shaq and Hakeem are once in generational players. He might not be Shaq but he sure as hell ain't McGee Harden can have a bad night and Rockets win. Westbrook can't 1 Like |

Eruditor: Nene Hilario? Dude is a 20/10 guy on most teams. Most nba coaches like to use him as a big body, but he has rock solid offense. His outside jumper is legit. Repeated injuries have made coaches limit his playing time. Dig up some denver nuggets games or fiba brazil to see how vicious Nene really is. I think someone finally told him the crazy black dude act doesnt fly well with yankee fans. When he first came into the league, he dunked on one dude, then made a knife slashing a throat gesture. Got a technical immediately - he is much more docile last couple of years 3 Likes |

Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:47am On Apr 25, 2017 |
A40: Does he create his own shots? Nope. 90%+ of his points, don't they come from FTs and Alley-hoops (at least in Houston)? He rebounds well and passes well for a big and Javale rebounds and blocks more shots. They are pretty much the same in my eye with little variations. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:53am On Apr 25, 2017 |
birdman: But he has never been a 20/10 guy on any team and may never have another 28/10 game. Why are you guys reaching like Andre Roberson? Yea, he is vicious. Has solid defence and rebounds, yea. Legit jumper? You are reaching man. Spotty jumper at its best and I am sure I may find Javale making a couple jumpers if I looked hard. But here is the point; as far as I have seen him including during the last olympics coming into Houston; Lay-ups from PnRs, Alley-hoops, Free throws have been the source of his points and that's pretty much Javale with GSW. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:55am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Donlittle: My bad. He is carrying the Rockets with his 100% FG% from legit jumpers and no alley-hoops, dunks or lay-ups. Future HOFer if you ask me. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:58am On Apr 25, 2017 |
And there I was thinking Curry only played well in regular season games and disappeared in the playoffs or better still, that Klay carried him. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:04am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Eruditor:bruh mcgee couldn't even find a team to stay on. Dude was out of the league for how long? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:07am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Donlittle: Maybe I went too far with Javale but my point was in terms of his (Nenê's) shot creations or offensive game in general especially in Houston. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:22am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Eruditor:That's what we are trying to point out to you. Too far with the mcgee comparisons. What mcgee does mostly is dunk, alley hoop, and block shots. Mere watching than game yesterday, how many points did nene get off dunks? what i was seeing was footwork. That alone should make you not to make that comparison. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 7:23am On Apr 25, 2017 |
Eruditor: Nobody said Curry doesn't play well in playoffs. Some people just question his off and on games in finals only. You're overreacting 3 Likes |
