I've never said people should chase money in contrast with God rather the bone of contention here is as it concerns ministers of the gospel being wealthy. I've only argued that they should be wealthy because God has not called us into poverty but into great wealth, both spiritually and materially. To start with, what is salvation  with that question in mind, kindly look at this scripture: Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |

DrUche3:I didn't see where you answered the question. How do pastors make their money They are not the only workers in the church. We have pastors, Sunday school teachers, choristers, cleaners, etc. How come pastors get the lion's shareHow come pastors get goodies and the other workers are encouraged to work for free When the universities are built, are church members encouraged to participate beyond just the financial running Are members stakeholders in the schools just as was practised in the early church where members shared everything among themselves |

For me I want to enjoy life to it's fullest because Christ was made poor that I through his poverty might become rich; 2Corinth. 8:9 For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).
