my friend, not all topics should be discussed or judged based on the northern/southern divide you have in your country Nigeria. some issues are fundamentally hinged on humanity, companion and love for another human life.

This is between an adult and an 11 year old CHILD. I don't think there is any other side of the story we should hear as we all expect the adult to have acted better. It's not a case of two adults.

That kid is barely 11 and she was punished extremely for eating when she's hungry. Who knows how long she had been starving. The woman clearly enjoys beating the kid for the fun of it. It's foked up.
I blame the government too mehn, no stringent laws protecting children. They are married off and even have kids before they are 18. These kids need to be protected. They are young and can't really fight for themselves.

The husbands of such women are equally abused. Whatever you do to a maid, good or bad, karma will return it as obvious in the marriages of our untamed celebrities.
