Please, which of the following cassava varieties is best for planting? How many T/hc?
1. TME 419
2. TMS 30572
3. TMS 4(2)1425
4. TMS 81/00110
5. TMS 92/0326
6. TMS 30001
7. TMS 50395
8. NR 8082
9. NR 8083

Your response is highly needed please.

TME 419 is good with higher yield, 60 bundles to plant an hectare (15 plots). A bundle comprise of 50 stems of cassava. Also Vitamin A cassava variety is also good.

They have it at IITA, you may also put the advert on nairaland cox some practicing farmers here have it also. Someone advertised Vitamin A cassava stem on nairaland last year at 600 naira per bundle.

A good TME should not less than 12months but better off to be more than 12months

It depends on your aim of planting: If it for starch, tms 35072 is a good choice.
If it is for garri, you can use any of the others.

So, it depends...
