He is not splitting opposition open with passes, he is doing it with dribbles like Modric either, he is not winning tackles or great at interceptions

He just gets the ball and pass safely....Sideways or backwards, nothing special

We should be looking at Players like Kroos who is very similar to Carrick in his style of play to give us some control in the middle of the park. Don't understand the negativity here.
