I understand that. But I stayed with an African American man, I told him why I was coming/staying that long and he was amazing and also gave me a massive discount.
I am yet to stay with a Nigerian host so I'd leave my comments till when I do. But we have read on NL how Nigerian hosts have maltreated thier guests (although not Airbnb) and I have a feeling the Nigerian Airbnb host would act like they are doing you a favor.
I had a Nigerian nurse that was acting like she paid my hospital bills......
That's just my opinion though .
You know this right? I will only rent from a Nigerian if I will be having the whole house to myself. Plus can you pls give me the contact details of your host? May be a referral from you will earn me some discount too.

Can I send you a Pm? Plsssssss sad

Yes you can,but the onus now lies on you to convince cbp at poe if the need arises that you are not there to give birth, but on vacation.

Yes. If you mention you are going on vacation you will probably not be given permission to stay sufficient time to have your baby since you are not planning on having your baby in the US. The amount of time you are permitted to stay depends on the reason for your visit to the US with 6 month being the maximum (usually given when coming for childbirth).

This is information that you should know and is available in the CBP website and not information you should be asking an opinion on a message board.

Good day house,
please how do i make up proof for accommodation on my missionary journey especially since i stated at the embassy that i had no relative abroad; but now i intend staying with a friend who doesn't really have complete papers and thus can not be referred to as my host.
I would have booked a hotel to present at POE but want to know if there are other more affordable means i could pass through this without being charged for a hotel i wont stay in.

No one ever replies me here, what have i done wrong Please help a sister anyone with similar past experience

Is it possible no one is answering cos you looking for advice on how to lie or misrepresent to the VO abi na CBP sef?

@temmyo I don't think she'll be violating her b1b2 visa terms if she puts her LO in a creche/daycare/preschool for the duration of her stay there. They are mostly privately owned so one pays fully for their childminding services. Many mums on here do so and there's not a single issue with it cos it's not govt or taxpayer funded.

To each his own..I had the worst experience with a naija host and later got Airbnb with whitey and it was the sweetest experience.. No regrets

In my opinion, being a Nigerian(or African) host matters mainly because we are aware of what you are in town for and there is a little bit more compassion. Oyinbo and other African Americans(from what I've heard) treat you like you're doing something illegal. Then there is the issue of racism and that's the last thing you want to expose yourself to when you're pregnant. It happens still in 2017.[/quote]

Use the hotel and stay for just one night then off you go.
I don't have relatives or friends there so I stay in hotels any time I go there.

Check the non-immigrant visa thread. I think I read once there that since the visa is for visit it can't be used for education. Has nothing to do with money.

Hello House,

Please anyone know how to book a flight on BA without having to use a dollar card or credit card on their website? Trying to secure a ticket to Houston that's looking affordable and would like to pay ASAP.

Your help will be appreciated.

P.S - I called yesterday and was told I could use the GTB online banking platform but there's no book on hold option for the ticket to enable me hold it and pay using GTB. Preference is to pay naira equivalent as there's a difference between airline naira rate and rate I have purchased the dollars on my USD card.

Thanks all

Contact the help desk. They'll ask for a scanned data page of her passport and they'll sort it out so her profile will be attached to the new email
