abescom:I quite agree with your opinion that the kidnap took place, judging from the questions you raised. But unfolding events has given me a reason to believe there was a conspiracy. We cannot just rule out the leprous finger of the then opposition in the whole saga, the role played by Governor Shettima when he said he thought the president ought to have heard about the kidnap in the early hours, hence his decision not to inform him. The role played by the principal of the school where she could not provide the manifest of the students that registered for that particular exam, the inability of most of the students to read simple English, the kidnappers loading hundreds of students in a truck(s) and driving for kilometres without resistance from anywhere, the list goes on. My brother, there is every reason for Thomas to doubt this. For sometime now, Boko Haram has been resolute in killing our people, including soldiers. It begs the question, how come a government is negotiating for the release of a massive number of kidnapped victims, at the same time the kidnapper is so stern on killing more people? Isn't that acting from two opposing directions? Secondly, the military recently claimed to have bombed Shekau, the supposed leader of the kidnap group, isn't that enough to have called off any negotiation that was already set in motion? Or are the girls no longer in the custody of the dreaded Shekau? I only but wonder. I am not trying to make a case for Jonathan. I am not his sympathiser. Jonathan was just too slow to confront those that confronted him. Lastly, the international community you mentioned, with specific reference to China, Russia, Uk.... They couldn't have done more than what the Nigerian state permitted them to do. Remember, the Uk government said they know where the girls are. Where they able to rescue them? Your guess is as good as mine. All the super powers you mentioned are notorious when it comes to foreign policy especially when a weak country is involved. They are still blaming themselves whether the Syrian chemical attack was staged or not, Sputnik Russian state media just apologized to Al Jazeera for falsely accusing them. These countries can do anything, and that includes APC 7 Likes 1 Share |

ReubenE:I am afraid to reveal too much on this issue but let me tell you this, the kidnap was not planned by opposition but later used by them. Don't ask me how I knew this cos I won't say but Mossad, the well known Isreali police at a stage was going to get all the girls released but due to religion bigotry ( you know mossad and muslims don't mix ) it was stopped. On Boko haram the fact of the matter is, GEJ could have done alot but deliberately let things linger. On the girls, he assumed and that let us here. Everyone including the current government new those doing this and it includes an ex president of this nation. |

65% problems of Nigeria are the masses, why the remaining 35% goes to the so called leaders. You see, even when the chibok scam was so obvious, it was we the masses who defended them to the last. Let keep defending the obvious. A country build on deceit shall not Stand. When the righteous rules the people rejoice, but when the wicked rules the rest are history 1 Like |

BornAgainMay: And you think such a man was fit to be president?? No, just for the records, I'm not holding brief for this government, who I believe has messed up. HOWEVER, regarding the Chibok saga, there is no way you can exonerate the C-in-C at that time. He is the CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER OF THE COUNTRY!!, but if with army, airforce, SSS, police, NSCDC, etc at his beck and call, he was still AFRAID of some individuals, then he had no business being in that position. scam or no scam, HE must take full responsibility. end of 1 Like |

Let's assume it was staged as you have claimed. But Jonathan's lack of intelligence on the chibok issue as the Executive president of Nigeria only portray why he was tagged clueless and an ineffectual being. Despite all the power at his disposal he wasn't able to detect the chibok kidnapped scenario was a scam. It would have been better if you have kept mute, this your remarks will only further expose Jonathan's lapses. What's patriotism? You don't appear patriotic my brother . If I were you the first thing I will do was to felicitate and congratulate the families of the freed chibok girl before tendering my rebuttal. But you hate for this Government won't let you . Yet you claimed to be patriotic. Stop fooling around my brother . We know where your heart lies . 1 Like |

Apart from the problem of corruption, the main reason why Nigeriatric as a country has not make much progress is the poor sense of judgement of most Nigerians due to their lopsided subject reasoning that is clouded by sentiments, bigotry, nepotism, and ethnicity. These people are wrongfully claiming that they know more than the American and British intelligence, the international Red Cross and the Swiss government, with the last two publicly acknowledged by the Nigerian govt for their role in the girls release. I believe you have your own drones in the sky monitoring Sambisa or Boko Haram movement. You also have hundreds of your own intelligence community members sifting through millions of intelligent data..... gathered from multiple sources. If you think those nationalities who have made advanced progress in other parts of the world got things done through acts guided by sentiments, then whatever pound of flesh you are seeking, God will grant to you. |

Funny country called Nigeria... Jst last week you said Abubakar sheakau was badly injured in airial bombardment..... Today you Receive 82 girls from that same man u said was badly injured.... Ayamnotunderstanding anything again... Question 1. Is it that ur guys finish negotiating b4 the bombardment or the sheakau ur negotiating with is different from the one u bombarded Question 2. Is it that you people did not study the location of BH as they came out from their hideout with the girls or u are gruping in the dark Question 3 Y is it now that our president is ailing that u bring up dis story Question 4 Is this your So called APC going to rule forever... Paradaventure there are lies and corruption in the things your doing today... Are u sure another govt. won't dig them out years to come Wat is worth doing is worth doing well Pls let's try as much as possible to be honest It's remarkable that the girl are bck Kudos 1 Like |

abescom:I very much agree with you. I am not of the school that the kidnap did not take place. My own opinion is that the then opposition elements facilitated the process. There are too many loose ends to ignore. Jonathan, and many other actors I believe know about the conspiracy...but of course, feigning ignorance is our culture here. |
