To save you some stress start from this website http://graddecision.org/, So step 1) Decide on the course you want to study 2) Search for schools using a) www.google.com b)www.gradschools.com c)www.msinus.com d) www.usnews.com e) www.4icu.org . 3) check up the website of the schools you find to see the requirements. most schools will require GRE and some will require both gre and toefl, its good to do all this exam to at least have a chance at funding. 4) register for standardize exam and take it 5) Send your application and back it up with prayers. While checking schools, shortlist them according to cost of living in that city, opportunity for Funding,your research interest etc. funding depends on your GPA,LORS, SOP,GRE/TOEFL SCORE. For most graduate programs, funding comes inform of TA/RA/AA. What it means is that, you get to work as a teaching assistant or research assistant or administrative Assistant and you get paid a stipend per month and in most cases your tuition is waived. This is just a summary of the initial process.I wont deceive you, the process is overwhelming but it take step by step. I was denied after all and didn't travel.I'm currently filling another DS-160 using the same account ,this time for my F1 visa interview for this fall only to realize the agent made a mistake in my 'place of birth' when he did the last application.I intend to fill my correct place of birth as I complete this application.

Should I be worried??

i see a couple of guys talking about visa renewal in Canada and co. Please understand that if you do not intend to leave the U.S. and your visa expires while you are in school, you are fine. Your I-20 document covers you as long as you are in status. Your visa is just a pass into the country and has nothing to do with your status. For example if your program is beyond 2 years and you need to get out of the U.S., close to the date of expiry of your visa, it is appropriate to renew it. You do not need to go through all the stress if you do not intend to leave the country and re-enter.
