Words cannot express how much I appreciate all your greetings, goodwill messages, prayers and well wishes.

May the good Lord prosper you all and make your dreams come true. Those still waiting for ITA, may it come sooner than expected.

@Ozymigrant,

You have written more than I deserve... Thanks for the compliments. We brought nothing to this world and we shall take nothing back...
You were only lucky the person I got the money from gave me a tip cheesy, others have not been so generous...

It is always a pleasure being of help if it is within my capacity to do.... May your road be rough as my secondary school principal used to pray for us.

@Alphadoor,

South Australia is a nice place for raising family. It is relatively quiet and peaceful compared to the Lagos of Australia (Sydney).
Life is beautiful here and you have access to every basic things of life.... However, getting a job as a new arrival may be very challenging. It is why I don't encourage people to choose the state except it is the last option.

@Mamajaz,

Thanks... I am lucky too for having such a beautiful Mind for a soulmate.

Tomorrow is the remembrance of her arrival to this world.....

Ooh!. If u've done anything construction related then wld av suggested Vic. as that is booming now; Sydney as well. Think urs will be more of WA, if u ain't satisfied with SA. Darwin too is good, if you don't mind - Learnt they give accommodation in their packages.

That will be for geotechnical engineers or engineering geologists.

No, I am not interested in mining. My interests and experience are in geochemistry and geothermal research. The Liberal government, especially Malcolm leading the pack, is pro fossil fuel and anti renewables.

I already hung my boot for geology and now pursuing my passion. Geology was for the money.. wink cheesy
I am studying Psychology and criminology now to prepare myself for a long career in human services.

Thanks for the recommendations...

Yes, you may do so if the job you're nominating meets the ANZSco's job description for same occupation although you wouldn't be able to claim points from experience when you eventually get positive assessment.
Is vetasses your assessing body ni?

Thanks buddy.
YES Chemical Engineer.
Yeah Malkinburg did warn, but I never would think I'll be a victim.
However, I think my challenge was I'm not a loud speaker, and taking the test in a room full of Indians, you're doomed if you can't shout coz those dudes are just loud that I felt disturbed.
Of course if I want to repeat it's gotto be IELTS unless I'm placed alone in a room for the PTE. But bro, the problem is that, down here and at the moment, every dollar counts to my survival. So, I'm not willing to make another try unless situation calls for it; if state nomination proves to be taking longer.

Pls ALL, don't be discouraged by my Poor PTE score. I find the PTE to be easier and more comfortable than the IELTS. Apparently, my score didn't support my claim; I must have done something wrong. But since I can't identify what it is I did wrong, I'm just gonna stay clear, hahaaaa.

catchdwind4rmkd:
I have been on the sidelines for couple of months, but you can be rest assured that I haven't been sleeping neither have I stopped the chase.

So, I've got both good and bad news... And for me, the good news always comes first.

I received a positive outcome on my MSA CDR application from EA today. It was Fast Track, and took 16 working days; my status didn't change until the 16th working day. I'm grateful to you all for your relentless and selfless services. SPECIAL THANKS TO @MALKINGBURG for the RELEVANT MATERIALS.

In another news, I give up on 189. Now chasing 190. My last English test (PTE) was a complete DISASTER, SPEAKING score of 49 (R70 L78 W86). Completely demoralised to even try again, hahaaa. My speaking can't be that bad. Thankfully, my IELTS was band 7. In my case, practice didn't make perfect because this was my first time of ever preparing/practicing for an English test; over a month wasted, lol. Thanks to y'all for the resourceful materials and links. SPECIAL THANKS to @MCTOWEL01 for the RELEVANT OFFLINE MATERIALS.

catchdwind4rmkd:
Moved Forward!!! grin wink grin

Grace has come to my rescue as always...
All praise and glory be to God...
It certainly couldn't have come at any better time than now grin

So, after 8 days of suspense and worries (longest ever I guess), it's all GREEN for me... Moved on!
PTE answered the call @Band7LetMyPeopleGooooo wink

Thanks for all your support

Hello Catchwindfrmkd, I am now in this shoe with this PTE english. I have taken it two times now. The first speaking was 66 and I was hoping to improve it but lo and behold the 2nd attampt is 44.

Were you able to identify what you did wrong before you could increase your score.

Thanks.
