Which area are you looking at? I've heard of prisms at surulere. Tel no: 08055777123. No 8 oyediran street off bode Thomas. A friend used them before. There's this other one at sura shopping mall. Can't remember their name.
I used omnival at Ikeja but I won't recommend them at all. I feel scammed each time I think of them.

Mama no vex o. Just accept it like that and sometimes these scans are wrong. I delivered 4kg plus vaginally without tear. Maybe you can reduce your carbs and sugar intake till your lo is born . Cheer up o

First that thing isn't exactly accurate so your baby may weigh less. Second I didn't really eat when I was pregnant yet my baby was 4.3kg. My mum said I was 4kg at birth plus my husband's family they have big babies so for me it was genetic. There's nothing I could have done to change it
The koko is for you to have a healthy baby and for you to come out of the process rejoicing. Don't worry about what you can't change

I bought Lansinoh double electric pump when I put to bed in December 2016 and it's still perfect till date..... I got from their Nigerian distributors in Lagos at 39k.

You're almost at the finish line, you need all the energy to cross that line biko

Valid points raised but Festac is not 45mins from Ago. It's less than 15mins if you are driving and less than 30mins via public transport and there is no traffic on the route.

Onegai:


Please get one 30 minutes away from you. Ago Palace Way to Festac is way over 45 minutes. You do not wish to go far in case of an emergency. No hospital should be more than 30 mins away from you, Nigeria does not have working ambulances.

Emel is good, as they have a Consultant Gynae and used to have a Professor of Gynecology.

To pick a good hospital, don't look at cost alone, look at

1. Hygiene. Do they have hand sanitizers everywhere and wash hands often? You don't want a baby exposed to all sorts of things like opportunistic infections. Especially newborns.
2. Staff. Are their nurses auxiliary nurses? Whom is their dr and their CMD? I looked my doctors up online and made enquiries (there are ways to check) so I knew whom I was dealing with (can be a neglectful ass but he is an overqualified ass who knows his onions). When you go there, who attends, Resident or new out-of-Med-school (who may get flustered with an emergency).
3. Emergency services. Do they have an operating theatre, can they do emergency CS and stabilize a patient? Private hospitals are rarely fully staffed but the better the CMD, the faster he/she can call an OB, surgeon and great staff to his hospital to perform surgery on a patient.
4. NICU. Can the hospital handle premature babies? Do they have working Phototherapy machines (because I have heard "please the patient has to go to another hospital because we don't have phototherapy bed/light bulb to treat" ). Is the hospital equipped to stabilize your baby and rush them to a bigger hospital if they need surgery?
5. Blood bank. How far is it from the hospital and how well-stocked is it?
6. Distance. How far is this place from me because my water could break, my labour can progress faster than jack Robinson and I really don't need to be in traffic (especially now that raining season has started) crying in a car.

That is how I picked my hospitals, by asking those questions. It's usually blood bank they fail at being close but they pass other things. So I'm not too worried and Dr staff are usually impressed that I did my homework and I'm asking them the right questions. Anybody that gets angry I'm asking if you can save the life of me and my baby during an emergency, thanks but no need to continue using them. HTH.

By the way, after you register, if you are a low-risk patient, they won't be carrying you like a raw egg. Infact the OB (consultant or not) won't show up until 20mins to you're ready to push. The nurses will be in charge. So yeah, super important to codedly ask the nurses "What school did you go, my cousin wants to attend Nursing school". Because a lot of mushroom clinics hire auxiliary nurses and pass them off as more than their qualifications and when you find out is when they cannot handle an emergency and keep calling Dr (always happens at night).

Please mamas, how did you people go about this Anti-D thing because I am in a mood to fight everybody now. We clocked 28weeks on Saturday. Prior to that, doctors both at the General hospital and my HMO said I have to do Indirect Coombes test to determine sensitization before I can take Rhogam. I just thought its all those normal tests and that I will still take the injection. I just got a call from my HMO doctor that I am not sensitized and as such will not be needing the injection. I told him sensitized or not, Oga abeg i need it and he adamantly refused saying the hospital will not administer it to me. I have an appointment at GH on Thursday but I am very certain they will tell me the same thing if the sensitization test comes out negative too. I am so worried and I am thinking of buying the injection by myself and taking it to the OB/GYN hospital I used to use when I was single. Hubby is here doing his own routine dance and asking me if I am more knowledgeable than the doctors. He even refused to give me money to buy it but I dont care. I just want to have peace of mind over my future babies!!!
Did anyone here not need the injection at 28weeks because they were supposedly not sensitized?

Based on my experience, i will advise Golden cross. Bin using dem since 2000. In my opinion, dey are gud and have a relatively good gynae. D only issue is dat dem dey get crowd and u might sometimes feel like u dey general hospital and not private.

MCC at First gate is anoda gud one i have heard of though i neva use dem b4. Truly dont knw much about Emel

A chemicals that didn't disrupt jaijana floral shouldn't be any harm, I think.
Not withstanding, one must clean properly before feeding baby.

Just as zaynie said...go and chop! U need d strength for d 'work' ahead. Sometimes, dose scans are wrong and other times, baby's weight is based on genes.. U fit no chop anything during preg...next tin u go see na 4 pointer baby. If u hear my experience ehn....chai! It was not a funny something! I hear am!

Ultimately sha, ur body was made for this! Do not b scared.

lol baby Jay. Except you're a stay at home mom that breast in the mouth thing to sleep sabi spoil babies o. It makes them clingy I did it with my first and I heard nwii. My mom warned back then to stop it since I would be resuming work at 3 months I refused (first time mom syndrome ) that my baby showed me pepper. I ended up resuming work with her + Nanny it still wasn't easy. At a point I had to resign, waited till she clocked one, put her in creche and went job hunting again. Weaning her was quite traumatic for both of us. She was my handbag everywhere I went she went. I used to carry her all the time. For my 2nd I heeded moms advice the babe was just an angel flowing with everyone. Not clingy at all. Weaned herself at 7months.

Heyy mama abeg help me oo bcs my baby want to start clingy clingy....I dnt leave breast in mouth tho but since she recognized my face and voice that's where evryfin strtd... What can I do....I want to start working wen she's 5 mnths by Gods grace...
