Good evening Nairalanders,

So I was reading the story of the south African lady that was reportedly killed and burnt by her evil boyfriend that is still at large as at the time I wrote this , I was amused and narrated the story to a group of friends that were around when I read the unfortunate story (RIP to the dead) .

I could hear the sound of pity in their voice as each made a contribution to the case and blamed the poor guy that perpetrated the act, when a thought crossed my mind; we all take this funny risk sometimes when we invite ladies (all this online and social media packages ) to sleep over at our place. I said to myself what if we don’t really know what happened between them, what if something like an asthmatic attack or cardiac arrest or something worse happened to the lady during the course of the night and she could not make it.

I said this to my friends, each jumped to individual conclusions and none included confessing to the police (Naija police no deh try abeg ) should they be in the shoes of the guy like that, one said he would run, leave her dead body and lock up his room, that by the time they know she is dead he would be long gone, another said he would go dump her body and deny ever knowing she existed if asked later, almost all made the conclusion of running away or denying her.

When I was asked what I would do, I just said I will take her to a nearby hospital and have the doctor pronounce her dead, at least by the time the police arrest me and tortured me small , I will be able to call for an autopsy to determine the cause of her death, If the police never change my story by then sha .

But at least this would be give me a better fighting chance than to be caught running (this is enough implication that you did it) .

So nairalanders, let just imagine this above scenario and put yourself in the shoes of an innocent guy or girl that a visiting lady or guy gives up the ghost in your apartment (God forbid such evil befalling us oh).

What would you have done

Nothing of such would befall us oh, just try and drop your perspective on the matter abeg!!!

Will take her to my bathroom and cut her body into pieces... Shop for acid and dissolve it into her body so it will melt.. Then flush it down the toilet and clean up... Take her phone and wipe out all d content... Carry my bag and vacate the premises....

I would call the police and face my judgment, no matter what it maybe. That's my theory but in the practical maybe I would run. It's one of those things that you don't really know what you would do until you are faced with the truth. I would like to think that I would do the right thing...
