There is no justification for this battery. If the lady in question verbally assaulted them they could have verbally assaulted her too supposing they wanted to be childish or they could have walked away if they were matured.

Violence is always in physical form. There are other types of abuse (e.g. verbal, emotional etc.) but Violence is PHYSICAL abuse (actual or intent) so when we say NO Violence we mean no physical abuse.

I agree "NO Violence" is tough. It requires restraint and is an anti-thesis of our natural human aggression (even more in males).

Being rude is perspective and what one considers rude, another might not. A girl told me i was not her type and I considered it polite. some other guy would consider that rude. Another girl insinuated I am only interested in sleeping with her and I considered such stereotype rude. again, some other guy would not pick offence at that.

What you do is move on period, she will even tell her friends and back in the day of letter writing, your letter go circulate tire and you will be laughing stock, just move on period you started it all, by not gauging the situation well or determining well in advance weather you will get a kiss or a nail and hammer on your head. The best you can do is dust yourself up and ask someone with more swag than her out and hopefully that one agrees then you can pose by spoiling the new bae showing the other one what she missed period. If that girl is my sister, i will be handing that boy over to boko-haram and getting a Chibok girl back.
