Senseless post. Nigerian custom officials are mostly corrupt,heartless self serving evil squirreling saboteurs of the nations economy.Say the truth.

I guess the chase that led to this fatal accident must be deadly.
Only God knows what could have been the fate of the smugglers if they were out- ran by the customs officers.
The custom officers might have gun down some of the smugglers. Though they are doing their job, the truth is they are always overzealous and working with double standard. May the soul of the lying men RIP

A custom officer has not told you "i like this car, i want it" go and bring 200k or i would seize it.. a car that has all documents complete. And tou actually do nothing about it.

FRSC go dey do police work.
police go dey do VIO work.
Customs go dey do military work.

The people are at an all time high hatred against all apparatus of the Nigerian state.

Most importantly, they would be driving without putting on seat belt. This alone is a great cause of death and injuries in such accident cases

The Customs need better trained drivers. Those fayawo guys are very good and skillful drivers and to beat them, you must be better than them. In the US, it is hard for criminals to beat the police in a chase because the patrolmen are specially trained on how to drive faster and better.

Doing there jobs? Okay lemme break it down. I know a small company that imports high end mobile phone accessories for sale in the country. As expected customs must go through to verify. Why though do they collect a sample of the products and never return them? Why do they go only for the high end really expensive ones like Bluetooth earpieces when there are low end cases/covers? Customs are thieves and deserve any death they get. Bunch of vipers

You spoke my mind, those Fayawo peeps are capable of taking part in formular one, they posses combination of speed driving and high level expertise.
