Funny that your first post on this thread has to be negative, you were missing all through when a lot of away wins were recorded. Which league in the world doesn't have mistakes from refs. Let's stop this.

You are doing a great job here but our refrees are not helping the league. I watched the highlight of the game between abia comet and gateway united the game was 1-0 in favour of abia comet when gateway score a equalising goal but to my greatest surprise the refree that had pointed to the centre change his decision with the help of the lineman. The goal was a good goal even the abia comet players were already sobber but when they notice the refree decision they quickly carried the ball from the net and play the resultant free kick, what a shame to nigerian football.

Whose bright idea was it to put an Ekiti team in the Northern conference anyway? Think of how horrendous the travel costs will be.

This is to inform all concerned parties that Ikom Township Stadium hosting the home matches of Unicem Rovers FC in the 2016/17 Bet9ja NNL season is suspended from further hosting of Bet9ja NNL matches until further notice.
This suspension is as a result of the playing pitch which the adjudged to be unfit to host its matches. Despite several correspondences on the state of the pitch,the State Fa / Unicem Rovers FC have failed to improve on it. The league board is also of the view that the State Fa / Unicem Rovers FC have difficulty in arranging adequate and effective security in accordance with the rules of the competition.
In view of the above, all home matches of Unicem Rovers FC in the 2016/17 season will henceforth be played at Eugene Esuene Stadium Calabar.
NB: This will commence with the rescheduled week 12 match ( Unicem Rovers FC vs Ikorodu Utd FC).
All parties are to note that the week 14 match(Unicem Rovers FC vs Osun Utd) will be attended to as soon as we received the match reports.

I thank gotaya and danycrusoe for keeping the spirit alive.it really goes to show how some Nigeria still have the interest of the country at heart.I am still shock that in century the nnl management does not know the importance of information and how it affect the branding concept of a firm.They say until extraordinary men do ordinary things in an extraordinary way the thinking of the human race especially Africa will still be shallow.
The current way in which the LMC and the NNL are runned will never develop this game in the next 50 years.
Reason been that the spirit of the Nigerian man rest basically on his communal instinct where we see each other as partners in progress.
I have been understudying the Nigeria football system for the past 12years and I can tell u basically we have not made any meaningful progress to clap for our administrators.
Community ownership and fan based ownership model is the way forward. LMC after producing a communiqué on that since 2014 are yet to achieve any result calls to question the essences of media jamborees that we are known for.I have been understudying with some football enthusiasts about the need to establish the first fan owned club in Nigeria using nairaland as a platform.the aimis for meeting like minds on the project.A Japanese club called fujieda myfc.
