Pls I want to apply for a 6 months work visa from Nigeria, do I need a tuberculosis test? From UK visa and immigration website, they stated that tb test is needed from people applying for visas that last longer than 6 months. Since mine is just a work visa for 6 months, I don't need a tb test right?

No you don't.

In addition to that, i am so in charge of the building project in the family. My basic salary is 56227 naira after tax. but i receive over 1 million monthly from my siblings for our project.

Hello? , pls I submitted my app on 18th April and on 8th May I got a mail saying my application is not straightforward. I'm anxious because my date of travel is on Friday and I haven't heard from them. Hope the delay won't exceed my planned travel date

Explain it the same way you did here now with evidence of money sent if you have any.

It's important that you declare any visa refusal if asked

From my little experience, hopefully u ll get ur decision next week before that Friday. But even if ur travel date is next week Friday and d decision is not out, they will not use dat as a reason to deny u if they are satisfied with ur other documentations.

Hello House, pls I'm new here but will really appreciate your opinions. I have a lil problem as I jst realized I'm supposed to apply for a Tier 2 dependent visa (general migrant up to 3years) instead of a settlement visa. I have submitted my application, I have done my biometrics and ive also sent my supporting documents to sheffield. Pls is there a way I can change from settlement to tier 2 dependent? I am yet to get a mail from UKVI tho. Pls wil appreciate your response on what to do next. Thanks.

You need to contact the embassy immediately and explain things to them. They may ask you to complete another form and cancel the previous application.

It should be refunded if you act quickly to cancel it. They will probably use the same set of documents as the requirements are almost the same, but don't take my word for it and contact them for instruction

If your previous passports is still with you. You will be required to photocopy all the pages including the data page as part of documents to be submitted. I would advise that you go along with your previous passports or make copies.
