If I knew beforehand, I wouldn't even date them because I find the illness scary by all counts. You'd be constantly worrying when they're home or out alone in case they have a fit & an accident happens. However, if I found out after I've fallen in love with the person, that's a cross I'd carry.

She did not choose to have this. But it's best if you walk away if y ou need feel that you cannot be there for her. Or this is something that might be too much for you to handle. It's best to be honest. However life has a habit of being unpredictable. Let's hope you will always have good health.
Someone developing epilepsy as an adult is a cause of concern to me. This needs to be investigated.

it all depends and trust me it all boils down to questions only you can answer

i have an experience with this My late uncle was epileptic and trust me it wasnt a smooth ride all his life, he could have a fit anywhere, i mean even on his way to work, it can happen as early as 4am and as late as 11pm, we were always on the lookout for him and it happened so many times. he wanted to get married and didnt inform his partner of his ailment, she left the house that same morning he had a fit, no amount of resolutions or pleading could bring her back and she was pregnant.

Being with someone who is epileptic is a lot of work, though there are drugs to control it, they are really expensive. It also depends on how often her fits are.

why didnt she inform you before hand about this?

can you cope with being with her (like i said, its not an easy job)

do you sincerely love her and will you be happy if you leave regardless?

like i have stressed, its really not an easy job. Do not be emotionally blackmailed into being with her out of pity if you dont want to but if you feel you have all it takes and really care about her as you have stated. why not?
