There was pandemonium after students who were originally slated for 9:00 am on Monday, 15 May, 2017 at Westhills High School, 1 Pleasant Street Ojokoro Village Oriokuta Ikorodu, Lagos were delayed for their exams. They started a 11:00am, almost 2 hours behind schedule. According to most students, all the systems were shut down barely over an hour after they started. They are now appealing to JAMB to help them as their fates hang in the balance.
NOte: They reported that one of the centre;s coordinators threatened to log all the students out, and after 10 minutes, all the systems were shut down...claiming it was done from Jamb HQ in Abuja

Educational system and every other sectors are dead in Nigeria. What is the point of doing Computer Based Tests (CBT) when we are not properly advanced to it technologically.

same thing happened to my kid SIS at college of education IGueben in Edo state. she wrote may 13 instead of 1:30 they state late at night and barely an hour later the forcefully submitted for them and chase them out of the hall.

JAMB should look into this issue.

How could you be unfeeling. There were complaints of hitches nation wide....we have to look at CBT in the Nigerian context and tell ourselves the hard truth. If we are not ready for this technology... why not give it a couple of years.

in my centre today everything goes well.i really enjoy the exams and am praying for good result.

Why is our educational system and the people behind it frustrating the young ones, and making it difficult like if the whole method emanated from the hell..haba! I can see the frustration every where including my cousin

I completely believe what you say.I think JAMB has outlived its usefulness.I heard that only basic calculators are allowed.The ones with only basic functions.

As am typing now by 4:08 pm, students haven't written their paper of 1:30 even 9:00am are still here in my hood.
