olujastro: So he is indirectly putting the blame on his predecessor. Now let's ask him, what steps did he take to properly distribute the medications since he became a minister? Our politicians will keep playing the blame game as long as people make excuses for them. 1 Like |

SalamRushdie:No. The drugs are never sold to patients, since the national ART program kicked off. They are always given free to PLHIV. The problem is that the central supply chain management is not very efficient as of yet |

will you shut the bleep up I worked for an NGO late last year and what i saw in the system always turn my belle. When we distribute drugs and test kits through the Local Govt. Logisticians to PHC's they (the health care providers) charge for the drugs, injections and the test. I could remember at CMS-Osogbo, the Distribution Pharmacist (God bless her alot FOR ME) always scream to the Logisticians that any drug that is almost expiring it should be returned to the CMS (Central Med. Store) for destruct. The Supply Chain Management in Nigeria presently has the set of (mek i no chop ban because i wan swear for them) people plendil: How many HF are there in NIgeria In Osun State alone they have more than 813 public health facilities not counting private healh facilities, Govt. Paramilitary Health Posts, and Tetiary Health Facilities when the drug is given free of charge in over 2000 facilities across the country?? My people to summaBEANS all, the blame goes to i. The Health Minister walahi that guy is too incompetent for my liking and should be replaced ii. NHSCMA (Nigerian Health Supply Chain Management Agency) The people in charge of HIV/AIDS Drugs storage should be sacked iii. State SACA Officers Methinks the work don bore them o ti su won 1 Like |
