Word in fact is that the Range Rover Sport is easier to convert......... I haven't seen any autobiography conversions!! My 2 cents

erico2k2, I'm really interested in the outcome of this your conversion, but since you asked for opinions, i"ll give mine even though you may not like it. I am not a mechanic or a technician, but I can read people even from their posts. The major reason why you want to carry out this conversion is purely sentimental. While i agree it is your vehicle and you can do as you wish, I must say this shows how attached you are to material things and i dont think it is a good sign. You keep reminding everyone that it is an autobiography, simply because they told you it was like pure water in naija. I give you till the next 3 years at most and your affection for that vehicle will diminish considerably. Like someone pointed out, its not a classic that will appreciate with time, so it will depreciate quickly. And after regaling your friends and family of how you converted your RRSA against all odds, you will wake up one morning and feel nothing again for the said vehicle. RR will definitely produce something better than your RRSA, and thats if they havent already, so no need making this particular one any more special than it is. A wise move will be to sell off and buy LHD, its just a car and God forbid but if you crash it, its gone, with all the conversions and stuff. But since conversion is your thing and you have the resources, by all means continue. Its your life and your car afterall.

Range rover has already done so with the all new range rover Velar.

The vela is not a sport version of the land rover series . It's a full size SUV . More weight . And we do not know if it's a Diesel moder only yet.

You are right its easy to convert as it has few orientations,however, the range rover sport and autobiography sports are same structure internally only that the autobiography is not kitted but carries its original body and it has a higher level of trims.In my own case the difference is the gearbox and I know in conversion we do not touch the gearbox, abi no B so

Its the trims and special features that make it more of an issue..... What have you decided to do with the center console??

Centre console stays . I ain't touching it . I found a dashboard in Poland . I'm going to rent a van and drive down there to pick it up . Centre console has no right or left let .

Center console can be used as it is, even though it has left and right.....
Dashboard is going to be the regular sport dash or the autobiography dash?? Picture shows a regular dashboard.

The dashboard is same nothing different frm the 2012 regular range however the touch screen is dual view and it has voice command .

By all means, they can be gas welded making sure a larger pipe is used to interconnect the broken ones.
