Go to the centre on friday as stated. The questionnaire is a mere survey which you can fill if you want. However, how come your application took 2months

Hi, Please can anyone help here?

We applied for a UK visa for My Mother in law and after waiting 2 months, my sister inlaw got a call( as my mother inlaw is over 65years so she's the next of kin) that it is ready for pick up and to pick it up on friday, she got the call today (wednesday); hmm i'm really curious as to what that means.. My mother in law also got an email few hours after the call that we should please fill out a questionnaire to rate their service...Anyone got any experience please?

Infact I have no idea, It took lots of emails being sent from us as the sponsors and caling and chasing etc until I sent another email on Monday before they called today... Very stressful but we'll go on friday as requested, just not sure why they call on wednesday asking to pick up on friday, very weird...

Dear Gurus in the House , your help/advice is highly needed here . I want to visit the UK , i have actually gone there once on a family visiting visa(invitation), now i intend to visit there again on my own with no one inviting me . How can i go about it and what are my chances of getting the visa again without an Invitation from someone there. Thanks

Good evening. House,
How can me and my wife apply 4 uk visiting visa.

Is it going to be different applications?

Will i have to submit same documents for both of us as shes not working?

And can i pay cash at the submission center?

Is there no paper based application for uk.

Thanks for your response.

These communications is either related to the age of applicant or if the applicant does not understand English. Pleas go the centre you submitted your mother in law application to pick up her passport. The out of the application can only be known when the passport is collected.

Hi, i want to apply to UK alone for a 5 day visit. While filling my application there was a place i was asked to put my wife and kids passport number even though they are not travelling with me.
My wife and kid both have a US visa on their passport though. Am i also to make photocopy of their passport and add to my application?
I'm going on tourism, simply sightseeing and having fun. I'm staying with a family member, do i need a letter of invitation from my cousin?

You do not need to add photocopied of your wife and kids passports. Only provide the passport numbers as requested. Yes you will need a letter of invitation, passport data page, utility bill as proof of accommodation, if you intent to stay with someone in the U.K.

@Justwise and frontpagelawyer.

Please i want to know some questions.

1. Can a family of husband, wife, and two kids apply for UK visiting visa, would it not be frown at considering the whole family going at once.

Does the U.K embassy consider home ties during visa assesment?

The family has a very good statement of account with the wife and husband having good job. Would that be a reasonable home tie to the V.O?

There's a distant relative sending them invitation, please i need a format for drafting invitation letter. The person does not know how the format looks like and the address that the letter should be addressed to.

Do they have to show flight itinerary or what other evidence do they need to show? Do they have to show places of attraction they intend to visit?

And also, would a balance of 5m be okay for a family of four sponsored by a relative?

Thank you. I would have to cancel the application then. My main intention was to stay in a hotel but i hadn't booked yet so i just decided to fill in my cousin's details. I can't begin to bother anyone for documents especially when i ain't staying with them.
Thanks again, i appreciate your response sir.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by saiprojects(f): 10:59am On May 19, 2017
Well they picked up her passport and it was a refusal again (3rd time), every time they refused her, its always been an issue with her bank account even though I'm the one sponsoring her, paying for her tickets etc.. Such a shame bt I guess I will have to leave it and not even bother apply again for her..

Sorry @saiprojects about the refusal. I am sure there is more to it than just her bank statement. Can you post and the refusal letter? There are gurus on this forum to help out on your next application. Never give up, if you really want your mother-in-law to visit.

Hello Sai,

Applicants around the age of your mother inlaw most times find it easier to get Uk visa as it is understandable they are not travelling to the Uk to look for work. Hence they would come back 9/10.

What exactly does the refusal letter say? Does she have huge balances in her account and can't explain that? I'll advise you post the refusal letter here, maybe block off personal details like name, etc. There are people here that can break down the implications of the refusal and fetch you info of what you guys might have been missing out in the application. Cheers.
