ehie: Nairaland ladies are one of a kind... afonjas who fought to enthrone GEJ (when the middle belt, south south and south east were all quiet) will also see this one through by God's grace. By the way, Osinbajo is already acting president. It took GEJ almost 9 months after Yar'Adua left the nation for GEJ to attain the status unlike in PYO's case where PMB rightly handed over to him before departing. Now, that's class. Please respect your masters - Yorubas, afonjas. 7 Likes |

ModsWillKillNL:The way some of you twist history eh!!! Was it not Dora Akunyili of blessed memory who first spoke out against the cabal Yar'Adua exposed, asking that GEJ be made acting president if Yar'Adua was not fit enough before Wole Soyinka and other Nigerians from various ethnic groups picked up the call before she was termed a traitor by some NASS members for that? You talk as if Yorubas were the only ones who fought to put GEJ there!!! All of a sudden, the iconic lady's achievement is belittled!! Feraz: This above bullllshit is falsehood raised to power infinity. Is Dora Akunyili Pastor Tunde Bakare who created the Save Nigeria Group movement and led protests to Aso rock? Is Dora Akunyili Olusegun Obasanjo who made sure he saw Yar'Adua in person when he travelled to see him and then returned home and advised him to resign? What of Wole Soyinka, Afenifere... And so on and so forth. During Dora's screening as GEJ's minister, didn't she swear in the senate chambers that she raised prayer points towards Yar'Adua's recovery in the Catholic church when she was accused of betraying Yar'Adua? 4 Likes |

Feraz: It is people like you that are twisting history. The SNG had been holding rallies about the cabals and health of Yar'Adua long before Dora spoke out. Dora was a person I respected but the pressures from outside the government gave her the courage to speak out. We didn't just read about this, I followed everything then because of my support for GEJ. It is funny how some people will try to twist history in order to perpetuate hate and prejudice. 2 Likes |

ModsWillKillNL: You are the one typing loads of bullshit... Dora Akinyuli did something that your Lai Mohammed and Adesina didn't have the guts to do in the face of overwhelming adversity. She said her principal was incapacitated. Adesina and Mohammed didn't even have the guts to tell us that Buhari was taking medical trips despite it being public knowledge. And it was because of her statement that made the South unite to stand behind GEJ. That was the first time since 1999 that the South had faced that kind of adversity and clearly it didn't happen smoothly because it was the first time it happened in Nigeria. Buhari handing over power to Osinbajo is to offset the kind of instability that happened when Yar'Adua didn't. It is called progress. For example, in the past US Presidents were assassinated. Today that is almost impossible. It is called progress. The South West did not do anyone a favor to support GEJ in 2009. The entire South voted for the Yar'Adua/GEJ joint ticket. Unlike in 2015. So when Yar'Adua left the scene, GEJ was the obvious choice for everyone from Benue to Ogun to Delta to Imo. That is 4 of the 6 regions in Nigeria. NW and NE didn't stand a chance. The same Afenifere that stood by GEJ in 2009 and 2011 were disowned by the political elite of the SW in 2015. But when it's time to recognize what they did for GEJ, you'll call them SWesterners. The same way you guys would call FFK and Fayose rogues when they go against the popular SW direction, but you would call them SWs supporting GEJ when the narrative suits you guys. You guys are scums, like seriously. No honor. No truth. The SS/SE despises Amaechi despite the fact that he is in the ruling government. You would not see a SS/SEner boasting on a public forum that after all, it was our oil dollars that gave Buhari and Osinbajo the APC presidential ticket. We don't want anything to do with his government or a traitor. That's honor. When we support a person, we support that person to hell and back. We had Obasanjo's back from 1999 to 2007 and it was a SEner that saved the country from crisis when OBJ didn't want to let go. You don't see the SE jumping up and down that we supported the SW presidency and did the whole country a favor. We are not you bunch of two-faced hypocrites who ALWAYS overstretch the role they play. The International community already wanted GEJ to takeover and there is nothing that would have happened to GEJ without the country going up in flames. The NC, SS, SE already had his back. Was Save Nigeria Group Movement the only group that protested against the Yar'Adua cabal? Was Soyinka the only icon to protest in 2009? You make it sound like Tunde, Soyinka, and Obasanjo were the only influential Nigerians who supported GEJ. Even Buhari asked NASS to impeach Yar'Adua! So what are you yapping about. So shut your smelly trap about SW installing GEJ. The South and Middle Belt alliance with friends in other regions and outside the country installed GEJ. You guys that couldn't install Awolowo, led MKO to the slaughter, want to claim victory in a fight with many actors. 2009 was evidence that a Southern/NC alliance was unstoppable. Just type trash again, I'll make you hate yourself. Nonsense! -Lord 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Twisting history is what you guys are experts at. Stop shifting it to someone else. There has never been a time when the SS and SE said the SW did not HELP in the fight to install GEJ. It is always you guys that make it seem as though without the SW it would have been impossible to install GEJ. Like it was the SW that single-handedly did it and only the SW propped up or gave confidence to the other actors that stood by GEJ. The entire International community stood by GEJ. The NC, SS and SE stood by GEJ. No Yoruba minister stood by Akinyuli. And what about David Mark who despite the threats and pressure from the North (himself a Northerner) not flinching in making Jonathan the Acting President? Did Bakare do more than David Mark? LordAdam16: Rubbish! I watched the Dora's live ministerial screening as GEJ's minister she almost swore that she went to raise several prayer points at a catholic church for Yar'Adua's quick recovery when she was confronted by the abokkis for betraying her boss. [s]The South West did not do anyone a favor to support GEJ in 2009. The entire South voted for the Yar'Adua/GEJ joint ticket. Unlike in 2015. In 2011, SW supported GEJ and he won and Buhari lost. In 2015, SW supported PMB and he won and GEJ lost. Who created the APC? Who funded it largely? Who controlled the media including social media? Come on, even PMB and Aisha have been grateful to the SW/Tinubu for their success at the polls. If GEJ didn't need SW votes, why did he go about bribing our Obas with hard currency? Why did he almost live in the SW prior to the election We couldn't install Awolowo. Yes. In 2015, we were wiser... Obasanjo reaped where Abiola sowed. flatiyeassterners who couldn't stop begging PMB for forgiveness as soon as he won the election in 2015 - thronging his residence day in day out - are the most unstable, two-faced and hypocritical scums I have ever known in my life. Even today, they are looking for every flimsy excuse and opportunity to defect to APC. Theodore Orji had to be rejected outright. Ikpeazu is already scheming. If flattiyeasterners had half the appointments Yorubas have gotten from PMB so far or occupied nos 2, 3 and 6 in the order of precedence, they'll be his staunchest supporters - performance or no performance. ModsWillKillNL: In 2011, the NC supported GEJ and Buhari lost. In 2015, the NC supported Buhari and GEJ lost. Who has the 'PC' in APC (Spoiler alert: CPC). More than 11 of all APC state wins were because of Buhari not Tinubu. Who funded Buhari/PYO primary win if not Amaechi? Tinubu couldn't even match Atiku's finance. I told you I'd make you hate yourself. Always overplaying the influence of the SW. Obasanjo didn't even need your votes to win elections. Buhari is grateful to Tinubu because he has a brain and knows no one is an island. Buhari also appreciated GEJ for organizing a free and fair elections and giving up power without bloodshed. We all know if Obasanjo was in GEJ shoes, 2 million Tinubus+Buhari wouldn't have won because OBJ doesn't believe in fair play. That is the difference between every other Nigerian and SWs. Kano and Katsina gave more votes to Buhari than the entire SW. If Buhari was a Yoruba man, he would not even acknowledge Tinubu. That is how egocentric and out of depth you guys are. Always trying to prove something you guys are not. If the NC had voted for GEJ like they did in 2011, Buhari would have lost. GEJ already got 40+% of the votes in SW in your backyard. In Lagos, GEJ got 632,327 votes as against Buhari's 792,460. In Lagos, Tinubu's Empire. Compare that to Katsina and you'd see that Buhari is only trying to be fair by acknowledging the SW. The North already had 2015 in their pockets courtesy of Boko Haram and the Chibok kidnap, they just needed to fool Tinubu to abandon his fledging GEJ alliance for an imaginary VP position they never intended to give him. And the result is clear to see. In 2011, GEJ allowed Tinubu to build AC into a SW powerhouse slowly growing into SS with Edo, altogether having 5 states, when he could have quashed Tinubu and AC like OBJ did to AD in 2003. In 2015, when Tinubu broke the alliance, he lost AC to CPC and can only boast of 3 states (Lagos, Osun and Edo) out of over 20 APC states. So crawl back to your cave and sleep in your mediocrity. Running your mouth like a running tap. -Lord 7 Likes 2 Shares |

LordAdam16: Bunkum! What is NC? Have you forgotten Kwara and Kogi usually align with the SW? PMB had won the 2015 election prior to the d-day courtesy of the SW. Tinubu personally approached Buhari for an alliance that birthed APC.Had Tinubu stayed put in ACN his comfort zone, APC would never have been formed, PMB would never have contested as he had declared his 3rd attempt as his last in 2011, and GEJ would have won the 2015? Why are these known facts/series of events difficult for you to process as the reason SW rightfully claims to have handed PMB the presidency in 2015? ModsWillKillNL: Can you even read? You don't even know what NC stands for. Go and compare 2011 and 2015 NC election stats before typing trash on a public forum. Look at the obvious nonsense you're talking. Was it Tinubu that met Buhari or was it Buhari that met Tinubu? Always trying to distort history! Buhari met Tinubu and Tinubu agreed to the alliance because Buhari promised him VP. That was the number 1 reason why Tinubu broke his alliance with GEJ--promise of VP position. In the end, the North pulled a wool over his eyes and that was the beginning of his misfortune that is still ongoing. In 2011, both Buhari and Ribadu fielded Yoruba VP candidates, but Tinubu did not budge. What do you think changed in 2015 that made Tinubu abandon his lucrative alliance with GEJ to build an alliance with Buhari? It was greed for VP position and the SW (at least around 55% fell for it). He had already built the alliance before Saraki and el-Rufai spat pepper into Tinubu's eyes. The constitution is clear that the President has to get 25% votes in 24 states. The North knew the states that could add to his core tally in NW and NE were in the NC and SW. And Buhari dangled the VP carrot in front of Tinubu to woo the SW and asked the Northern Leaders organizations to do the rest with the NC region. The rest is history. Tinubu never got the VP nomination he risked everything for. He lost 2 states and the drive to win more, and got relegated from undisputed SW leader to one of the SW faction leaders. Today he is on party arrest. He can't leave APC, lest the CPC faction let loose the anti-corruption dogs on him. So, who was the wisest, the SW who played perfectly into the North's agenda or the North who were always holding the strings? Look at the way you guys are jubilating over positions. Fashola is a super minister. So is Amaechi. Adeosun is all-influential Minister of Finance. So is Emefiele, the CBN chief that reports directly to the President instead of Adeosun that reports to the VP. The powerful Ministry of Petroleum Resources is still under SS control. The CJN is from the SS. The only Southern service chief is from the SS. Yet the SS does not even bat an eyelid about the Buhari administration. We see the administration and everyone that is part of it as scum. That's honor. That's loyalty. Tomorrow if a SE person runs for President or VP on a popular platform, both SS and SE regions would vote overwhelmingly for that person. The person does not have to promise us positions. Under GEJ, the Number 2, 3, House of Rep Speaker and Deputy Speaker were all Northerners. Only the Deputy Senate President was from the SE, yet the SE rolled out the drums for GEJ in 2010, 2011 and 2015. That's honor. That's loyalty. Qualities that the SW does not and would never have. That's why everyone looks over their shoulders when with you people. And that's why the North is doing all it can to court the SS and SE despite being an alliance with you people. You are a complete illiterate. Where did I say Dora had NOTHING to do with GEJ becoming acting president. Imagine the heresy you are typing on a public forum. Who submitted the memo that changed the course of the polity in 2010 if not Dora. And you dare say Dora had NOTHING to do with GEJ becoming Acting President. Absolutely unbelievable. LordAdam16: stop being a stubborn goat! APC was Tinubu's idea. He met Buhari, formed an alliance with him and it became reality. Tinubu installed Oyegun as chairman and remained it's undisputed national leader until PMB became president. Only pure mischief will make you deny this. Those Tinubu statements were on another level. He needed PMB's support/alliance to form APC and unseat PDP. The only condition under which he would let PMB emerge as standard flagbearer was if he would be VP. Since he didnt get the VP slot, PMB was now at his mercy prior to the election. Hence PMB had to pacify him to prevent a repeat of the 2011 scenario. Got it now? ModsWillKillNL: You were the one calling Tinubu APC National Leader until I called you out. Now you've changed your position as a typical treacherous person. Tinubu had zero reason to go meet Buhari. He had more states than Buhari. AC was bigger and growing faster than CPC. Tinubu had already bad-mouthed Buhari relentlessly in public before. The Northern establishment wanted to unseat GEJ. IBB was already incapacitated. Atiku, Kwankwaso, Lamido, Ribadu et al only had leverage in no more than 2 states in the North. Only Buhari had the reach to rattle GEJ so he was pressured to run again and he found the perfect antidote to courting the SW by promising Tinubu VP position. Tinubu was impatient and greedy. If he had supported GEJ in 2015, he would have had GEJ's blessings and the entire South's blessings to run for VP in 2019. The South would have ignored the Muslim-Muslim setup, because he'd have earned it. As it stands, no region except the SW would vote Tinubu for VP. No region. PMB was never at Tinubu's mercy. If he was at Tinubu's mercy, he wouldn't dare overrun their previous arrangement. Tinubu had no choice. He was already knee deep in the alliance, had already made an enemy out of GEJ and SS/SE, so his only option was to accept the new turn of events. The SW was always going to get the VP nomination, it was indisputable, and since the North never wanted to give Tinubu the slot in the first place, they already knew that the VP candidate would be a Lagos person. They never bothered anyway who the person was as long as it was not Tinubu because VPs are by nature subservient to the President in Nigeria. A sick person in a hospital would not be boasting that he just likes to lie on a hospital bed and that he'd dictate to the doctor what drugs he'd take. There's no choice, the body has already succumbed to the illness. So stop typing nonsense on a public forum. Sirika is under the Ministry of Transportation. The link to the State House website is in my last reply and it is clear that Sirika is the junior minister to Amaechi. The same way that Hon. Mustapha Shehuri is the junior minister of power under Fashola. This is the link -- http://www.statehouse.gov.ng/index.php/government/1753-federal-ministers-of-nigeria-permanent-secretaries-their-ministries. Stop disgracing yourself.
