good evening mama's in the house.I'm a second time mum.prior to this first pregnancy was so smooth and enjoyable....didn't feel any form of morning sickness,fatigue,nausea nor unusual craving till I delivered. I registered for Antenatal at 4months plus....and was always making mouth that second baby I will register at 6 or 7 months as an old time mum...make the first time mum dey rush go clinic...
little did I know that it won't be the same....I am just 6weeks and some days gone.I started having sore boobs 2and half weeks before the day of suppose AF,nausea started a week to AF presumed date.as if that was not enough....can you imagine that by 5weeks I started having vomiting tendencies till date and I happen to spit too.boobs are still sore from when it started till now.I am wondering if na multiple pregnancy e bi abi the belle just wan fall my hand......how will I start now to go and drag sit for antenatal with first time mum.....rants end.....

This is serious I like Sophia the first it's like we have same hot water issue. I had to explain to my mum the stitches they used can melt off so she said it's the steam of the hot water that will heal it. So we both agreed to make the water not too hot. I realise the steam helped the swell of the site to reduced sha! Then the leaf for the cord helped it fall off @5days. She said the Mentholatum on the navel prevents cold from entering through there. Pepper soup I still drink, she said it helps the stomach. My Eba is very soft. I drink warm water everyday. She won't let me drink cold water. I wear girdle sometimes to eat sef she presses my stomach with hot water and I usually shout that my kidney is there but she will still press it. So my dear! If you ask me na who I go ask

lol, we all go through this. Try not to quarrel, just nod then do what you like, then let her have some things, choose your battles. Keep putting spirit on the navel till it dries, no need for anything else. Take the peppersoup and the stomach tying/hot water, it actually helps. If your baby is on EBM don't give water. On no condition should you give water with glucose (my mama try this one, I raked seriously). Circumcised pe.nis, if it's the ring method just leave as is, it will fall off and heal on it's own.

And web I want to read one page of my book in the morning b4 I quickly bath, she comes and start quareeling me to bath. How she wanted to use close-up or one leaf for baby's navel. Thankfully, it fell on the 7th day with spirit. Plz after the navel falls, is she supposed to use Rob or methelathum or penicillin or breast milk for the navel? That one is causing issue now. My baby have been crying days now; circumcision and navel pain. My MIL said i should clean with spirit, add breast milk and penicillin or Vaseline on the navel. Then use methelathum to massage round. My mum said i should not give water. My MIL said i should give water. My elder sister said i should add glucose to the water, my MIL said no, it will make poo strong. Plz, my head is banging right now from different talks. My episiotomy even got broken making plans now on how to repair it. This people wanted to kill me cos of talk of hot water. They said during antenatel, we should use skin temperature water and add salt. We can use purit to wash off wen we urinate. My MIL, Mum and others talked me into using hot water that we had to quarrel even. Now my suture have broken down. In fact, my mum threatened to go if i don't allow her do what she knows. I getting there, the fluid kept coming out. I padded. So wen i saw the doctor, he said madam, u are being admitted cos ur membrane has ruptured. So I called hubby. I saw other women who were admitted some of them signing under taking to go home and come back. I told hubby I tink we should do same because I was feeling no pain or any other thing except the watery discharge. We finally agreed I should be admiited. Later, I was transferred to Labour world. Tuesday came, I was feeling nothing. My people were outside while I was feeling cool with my self. In fact some doctors /matrons had to ask what I was doing in the Labour world because I was just watching as people will come, deliver and go. Later in the evening of that Tuesday, they had to augment since I wasn't contracting. So not so long, the reggae started. My contraction was slow. It lasted till by 1am wen i entered full Labour. They had to give me pain relief injection twice and insulin. Labour continued till few minutes past four wen i have birth. I didn't exactly know how to push. They had to screen and threaten me. I was begging them to help me with the delivery. At a point, I was transfered to another room. According to them, my baby's head was coming out with my cervix so I was going to tear my cervix if i push. They fingered me no b small. The pain was out of this world. At a point, i was asked to feel my baby's head which I did. One of the doctors who later joined me told me if i dont follow instruction, my baby will go to Skibles. I started pleading that they should cut me o ooo. The next push, I heard a sharp cut, na episiotomy ooo. Na so my son come out weighing 3.5kg. In all these, I thank God Almighty

That's the phase of omugo for you...you just try and tolerate them since they are only staying with you for a while. As for the navel in the hospital where I delivered they told us to be applying spirit like every 3hrs we kept doing that for like 4 days the cord was still there. When my aunt came around and saw that the cord hasn't fallen yet she shouted and ask my dh to buy close-up(that 20 naira sachet one) then she applied it like twice the next day it fell off. Then when bathing she uses hot water to massage the place. which after she mixed mentholator and fragrance free Vaseline then apply it at the navel. Which made it seal up fast. Me I really want that hot water bath therapy but unfortunately I can do it because of cs.. my tommy is still looking like 5month pregnancy..am only drinking hot

DH is 20weeks. Feeling serious indigestion. Been taking Antacid (Gestid) but no improvement.
Also she's diagnosed of fibroid (Doc & Scan says is not a treath to the baby) but she feels pains on the side of the fibroid location.

She was given pain reliever from hospital on her last antenatal but no serious improvement.
Pls any recommendation on the indigestion and pain.


*She eats in bits and max time of dinner is 7.30pm to sleep 10.30pm after telemundo. Lol

Hi, I was diagnosed with fibroid as well and like your DH I was told it wouldn't affect the baby, actually just had my 12 weeks scan today and all is fine thank God. I also have pain on the side where the fibroid is so I was given a pain relief tablet CO-CODAMOL is the name. Helps me a lot, once I take it I can go for hours without the pain or just small twinges, but I am in the UK so I don't know if you can get it where you are, if you can then that would help her alleviate the pain .

Hello teamie I took my first time at 19weeks then the second at 23 weeks. I had my first antimalaria at 23 weeks, the next one should be next week, by then I will be 27 weeks.
