i jst finished mine 30minutes ago, the only problem i m having is that the LGA ATTESTATION FORM available is for serving personnel only. similarly, i observed that some courses that were advertised earlier on are no more there.

I guess it is the same thing oo cos dat was what i saw in mine too. And since, the LGA attestation form can be signed by a military personnel of wing commander position, i think it's the same thing.

i think they should fix it. Because we (civillians) dont have a unit, date of deployment stated in the printout. Best thing is to get your LG cert ready...buh na still july sef abeg

GENERAL INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES

1. Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper for holders of First degree and Upper Credit for HND holders. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

2. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying for DSSC.

3. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.

4. Male applicants must not be less than 1.66 meters tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.63 meters tall. However, candidates applying for special forces must not be less than 1.78m height and must be physically well built.

5. Applicants should be between 22 and 30 years of age by 31st December 2017. Any age declaration done earlier than 5 years to this exercise will not be acceptable. Those who will be older than 30 years by 31st December 2017 need not apply, except for Consultants.

6. Applicants are to make a choice from the centers below for the Zonal Enlistment Exercise.

9. Shortlisted Applicants are to bring the following to the Zonal Enlistment Centers:

Attestation of Parent / Guardian Consent Form
Attestation of Local Government Area Form
Acknowledgment Card

Applicants are warned against giving false information as information supplied will be used to evaluate your suitability for shortlisting at any particular stage. Any false information discovered at any stage will lead to disqualification of the applicant.

10. Applicants are to print out the underlisted documents after completion of application online:

a. Attestation Form

b. Acknowledgment Card

c. Serving Military personnel are to note that documents listed in a-b above are not applicable to them, however the special attestattion form is to be filled by their current Unit Commander.

11. Applicant's local Government attestation form must be signed by a military officer who hails from the state of the applicant and not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and above. Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrates and Principals of government secondary schools from applicants' state of origin can also sign the attestation forms.

12. Additionally, applicants are to bring with them Local Government Indigeneship certificate from their Local Government.

13. Photocopies of all documents and credentials will be collected from applicants after screening during the Zonal Enlistment Exercise and Interview.

i printed out 3 forms, one is to be sign by parents but non to be sign by others except for a serving military personnel, so wat can we do?

Hi...Pls have you ever done this before? Or is it an assumption?. Cos I read somewhere there that one person has to sign ( chairman. Secretary. Principal. Or a military staff).

For the attestation form...You can call their help line or send them email for a complaint..
that's the only way out because there must be an attestation printout in any military or paramilitary exercise

I think is different. I will advice you should get your Local govt certificate along side with the local govt attestation. To be on a safer side though

pls, no one should derail this thread with past questions request. I witnessed the last screening, past questions are highly irrelevant. if you are shorlisted, u l be given use of english and its about 50question and the psychological test will also be on paper. therefore, u dnt need past questions to ansa this questions

Am sure this is your 1st time sir, if you did this same exercise last year you'll know both are not thesame...its just a simple error I am positive they'll fix, we all having same challange, so we are saf, let's all calm down and wait...it must sure be fixed in no time. And about the past question, seriously ehn we don't need all doz ryt now.

My observation....after going through the attestation form for serving military personnel, am thinking the whole thing wasn't a mistake after all.
Last year the attesting officer (LG chairman, military officer, secondary school principal etc) was asked to attach a passport signed and stamped , as well as a letter of good character(letter headed) attached to the attestation form.
Now lets assume the attesting officer would just put down his/her name and then fill out the recommendation space for the whole letter to serve as the letter of good character (leaving out other blank spaces on the form that are not relevant to the attesting officer, e.g current unit, date of enlistment and rank.
My advice is, we download that copy, so we are not caught unaware.
Or what do you guys think? Just an observation tho. Anybody is welcome to correct me on this.

Its not about it being my first time...I know how it all works and I was furious at the cafe...the lady said the same thing occurred during this year's 2017 airmen/airwomen registration... That's about 4 months ago...if it were to be a simple error, it should have been corrected since...I guess its more of an oversight which has been neglected... This is Nigeria...

durin screenin ur 1st degree cert must dey any other stuff na added advantage. if selected & training starts any ongoing stuff lik ur masters program, u wont be given dat kind chance @ur leisure... Even when u get d job uno get dat kind space sef, d most impt tin is get d job 1st or complete ur masters & apply 4job

No that of February airmen recruitment consists up of 3 forms : LG Attestation form, Acknowledgement card and Parents Consent forms,likewise last years DSSC

I am still serving, pls can I still apply?
