Ubenedictus:In case you don't know, Babylon is where you are- a den of demons. First of all pray against the demons you worshiped before praying for me. |

Ubenedictus:Unfortunately for you and your band of travelers, the Inquisition and Crusades set up by the Synagogue of Satan that called itself the Catholic church, couldn't and can never prevail over the true Church of God. It's only a matter of time- a fulfilment of prophecy, Babylon where you are- a cage of every foul spirit, will be destroyed alongside her ruler, Satan. So, worship your big & small idols while it last. |

Splinz:It is even more pitiable you seem to imply that true christianity began in the 16th century. No wonder you are not aware you believe a modern day heresy. The Bible did prophesy delusion |

Some of our Protestant brothers are sick to the point that they try to dissuade others from the Mother Church(Catholic). pls Protestants answer me, y do u call ur papas(pastors) to pray for u? Refer to their god as " d God of papa .....". when ur papa gives oil or water to use, u will preserve it like ur life depends on them? Some churches now worship their pastors in the name of righteousness? Y do u believe in ur papas more than d word of God... After all these, u guys still say Catholics worship idols while u are d ones practicing idolatry.. thanks. |

All religions or beliefs have one thing in common:There is God. The only contention is d way or medium to get to God. Muslims believe that way is mohammed. Pagans believe it is through ogun, sango etc. Hinduists believe it is through indui. Buhdists say d way is buhda. So many religions believe one way or d other. Christians know and believe it is through Jesus christ. He is d only way because evidences abound. If catholics decide to pray to God through dead believers or mary,it becomes very clear that they are different from christians. They are a different religion. Jesus is d only way to God!!! |

oz4real83:You're wrong.. Catholics pray through Jesus alone... the difference is that we ask both Christians on earth and in heaven to pray for us... not that we pray through them.. all prayer is answered through Jesus Paul says in 1 Tim 2:1First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. 3 THIS IS GOOD, and IT IS ACCEPTABLE IN the SIGHT of GOD our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Jesus also encourages us to pray for one another.. see Matt 5:44 We ask Christians in heaven for their prayers... just like I can ask you to pray for me I can also ask Christians in heaven.. besides We don't conclude our prayers with IN MARY'S NAME WE PRAY, OR IN SAINTS NAME WE PRAY... ITS EITHER IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY, OR THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD.. |

God is not against making images but worshipping them as God because he is jealous God. He asked moses to make serpent in the wilderness. He gave them instruction to make images of cherubim during the construction of ark of convenant. |

Splinz:Your rejoinders are shallow dear. You can as well ask which church did Abraham and Jesus went to. You can as well ask who was their pastor and why were they shouting 'fire' and other things some Christians. Not necessarily they are bad. |

Timothy 2:1-4New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE) Instructions concerning Prayer 2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. oz4real83:My friend.. unless you're an Adventist.. who believes in soul sleep.. most other Christians believe that once you die in God's friendship you are judged and you either go to heaven or hell.. see Hebrews 9:27 ... The dead in Christ shall indeed rise, but it is their dead bodies.. their souls are in heaven or hell.. Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to a judge who is God of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, if you're an Adventist please indicate, if not let me know your denomination then I can relate better |

LogicStatement:Uncle, please stop twisting the scriptures! All the people you mentioned who made intercession according to you, were all living. No dead saint can help you, only Christ can! For there is only one mediator between man and God, and He is Jesus Christ! I repeat, no dead saint can help you! |

Splinz:You cannot claim an overall knowledge of the scriptures. So be humble and not obstinate in your search for the truth. The rich man who neglected the poor Lazarus on earth interceded to Abraham from Hades for a finger drop of water to cool off his burning tongue. He requested again for Abraham to intercede for him that a prophet be sent to his brothers to warn them not to come to that place of everlasting torment. None of these request was interceded for on his behalf because he is unrighteous and a deep gulf exist between heaven and Hades. |

JuneOctober:In the New American Bible's English translation of the Gospel of St. Mark we do indeed read about the crowd asking, "Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Mary, a brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Aren't His sisters our neighbors here?" (Mk 6:3) A similar reference occurs earlier in Mk 3:31—"His mother and brothers arrived...." The problem emerges in understanding the meaning of the word brother. In the original text of the Gospel, we find the Greek word <adelphos,> meaning brother, used. However, <adelphos> does not just mean blood brothers born of the same parents. Rather, <adelphos> was used to describe brothers not born of the same parents, like a halfbrother or stepbrother. The word also described other relationships, like cousins, nephews, etc. For example, in Gn 13:8 and 14:1416, the word <adelphos> was used to describe the relationship between Abraham and Lot; however, these two men did not share a brother relationship, but one of uncle and nephew. Another instance is that of Laban, who was an <adelphos> to Jacob, not as a brother, but as an uncle. (In the New American translation, "kinsman" or "relative" will be used in these Old Testament cases; I do not know why this is not true in the English translation of the Gospel.) The same is true for the word sister. Actually, the confusion originates in Hebrew and Aramaic, the languages of most of the original Old Testament texts and of Christ. In these languages, no special word existed for cousin, nephew, half-brother, or step-brother; so they used the word brother or a circumlocution, such as in the case of a cousin, "the son of the brother of my father." When the Old Testament was translated into Greek and the New Testament written in Greek, the word <adelphos> was used to capture all of these meanings. So in each instance, we must examine the context in which the title is used. In all, the confusion arises in English because of the lack of distinct terms for relatives in the Hebrew and Aramaic, and the usage of the Greek <adelphos> to signify all of these relations. Nevertheless, other Gospel passages clarify these relationships. James and Joses were the sons of Mary of Clophas (Mk 15:40). Judas was the son of James (not either of the Apostles) (Lk 6:16). James the Lesser was the son of Alphaeus (Lk 6:15). James the Greater and John were the sons of Zebedee with a mother other than our Blessed Mother Mary (Mt 20:20).After the birth of our Lord, although the Gospels do not give us many details of His childhood, no mention is made of Mary and Joseph ever having other children. Never does it refer to the "sons of Mary" or "a son of Mary," but only the son of Mary. Therefore, as Catholics, based on Sacred Scripture and Tradition, we do not believe that Mary and Joseph had other children and consequently that Jesus had blood brothers and sisters. |

LogicStatement:Please shut up already! Their are dead saints and living saints! The ones you pray to are dead to us, even if they are living in heaven! And let me categorically say this: no saint in heaven can in heaven can ever intervened for you. The job of intercession belongs exclusively to Jesus! |
