It's been a while though grin.

Well, after much deliberation and suggestions of a proper title for this ''new forum'', we came up with a preferable title called ''Chronicles of Temy''.

The following week witnessed the commencement of an SUG election which took effect on regular bases every year in school. Although I am a bona fide student of AAU but I wasn't really an adherent of school politics but I prayed and hoped that whoever was sworn in as the new Student Union Government was to effectively provide positive changes and bring the great Ambrose Alli University Back to its past glory.
Anyways I sat down outside my hostel on a Saturday evening eating groundnut and diluting it with a cold can of coke. The weather that evening was so hot to the extent that one could observe the domestic goats passing by sweating profusely. I pulled off my shirt and voluntarily used one of my textbook which I was reading to blow cool breeze on my body.
"mehn, this weather hot o." I said aloud as I fanned myself .Everything for ekpoma na always times two. If rain wan fall, e go flood everywhere, if sun wan shine, e fit boil eba. God abeg help us o".
I was brought back to reality by my very good crazy friend Smart. He walked hurriedly into my hostel yard with immediate alacrity. When I saw him at first coming towards my direction with full speed, I was about to disappear to the oblivion or lemme put it this way, I was about to pick race.
"Temy, why you dey run na. Wetin dey pursue you" he asked still walking hurriedly towards my direction.
I halted for a moment to observe if I was safe. The fear of the Nigerian army was still giving me sleep less Nights.
"guy why you dey waka like that na. Person dey pursue you. For this hot sun you dey waka like who the entire community dey find" I asked in anger.
"Temy chill, I get good news. Your boy wan enter politics. Hehe." He smiled at me exposing his brown teeth.
Well to begin with, Smart is actually my friend. He is about 5'6 tall, chocolate skinned, with a brown hair like that of sisqo. Smart is actually a radical to the core, sometimes he acts like he is a ____ lol. But we are good friends anyways. He always confined in me whenever any issue arises such as this.
"Smart you sure about this thing wey you wan do?" I asked, still looking very surprise at this recent development.
"Temy everywhere good. I don buy the form already. Abeg you go help me campaign. You know how e dey go na" he said.
"mehn..." I scratched my head with my left hand.
"oboy! Temy you dey flex o. See groundnut and coke. How far, you go buy me Coke na, make I dey sip too. I don dey waka since, all my back dey pain me." He said.
He gulped the entire coke into his mouth and smiled with satisfaction. I told him to relax a bit while I hurriedly went to my customer Mama Agero shop to get coke and biscuits for Smart. I came back in no time to observe Smart with no shirt on
**************************************
I indeed hated politics, but what more could I do than to support my friend, comrade Smart.
After my afternoon lectures on Monday, I was on the way to board a bus headed to the school main gate when I observed about 3 missed calls on my phone, I checked the callers I.d. It was Juliet my ex.
"damn, Juliet just called me. Oh! My phone has been on silent since morning" I smiled as I scrolled through my contact list.
I indeed missed Juliet but the truth is we had no more connection, we weren't vibing like we used to, things just couldn't be as it used to. I then decided not to call her back. I headed straight to where the bus heading to the school gate resided.
Not too long, I got another missed call yet again from Juliet but this time around I picked it.
Me: Hello juli
Juliet: Temy, I have been calling you. Are you ignoring me
Me: No...no nooo. Why should I?
Juliet: No wahala o. Where are you?
Me: I'm still in school, but I am about to go home.
Juliet: I am in school. Please can we see.
Me: Why?
Juliet: We need to talk
Me: Okay, where can we meet?
Juliet: Lets meet at the restaurant close to the female hostel.
Me: I no get money o
Juliet: Don't worry I will take care of the bills.
Me: Okay.
She dropped call.
I stood still for a while wondering what Juliet had got to say.
"why the urgency, I hope no be wetin I dey reason o" I thought as I embarked on the journey towards the restaurant close to the female hostel.
To be continued.

I got to the restaurant in no time, I looked around and saw no sign of Juliet. I frowned. Well I guess I was quiet early, so I took a sit very close to the window, I brought out my android phone, plugged in my earpiece, went to my playlist and listened to music and at the same time, visited Nairaland.com as a guest.
I wasn't really comfortable at the restaurant as I could observe students heading over to the canteen to get food and drinks, while I was just sat there, observing the toothpick laying there lifelessly on my table.
"why this babe dey delay me like this na" I wondered.
Well, I was broke, but I couldn't just sit down whiling away my time doing nothing, so I dipped my hand into my pocket and brought out the remaining in 150 naira which I had left.
"money go come" I thought.
So I stood up from where I was sitting and headed straight to purchase a can of Pepsi. I almost wept as I gave my last change to the attendant.
"abeg, you get Pepsi?" I asked, stretching my hand to give the attendant the squeezed 150 naira notes.
"Pepsi don finish" she said
"wetin Una con get" he asked
"we get malt, we get star, we get legend, we get Smirnoff ice, we get Guinness, we get..."
The attendant didn't finish her sermon before I rudely interrupted.
"wetin dey suppppppp. Afa give me 7up. Abi Una no get 7up too?" I rebuked.
"we no get 7up" the attendant said, already getting frustrated too.
"Choi! Una po po men" I said with my both hands akimbo. "wetin Una con get.... Okay. Give me a bottle of water, abi that one too no dey?"
"bros, thAt one dey"
The attendent went straight to the fridge and brought out a chilled bottle of water and gave it to me. I took what I purchased with me and headed straight back to my position. On getting there I saw a lady occupying my position already.
"jizz.. Wetin this one dey do for my sit" I wondered as I approached the table. As I got the my sit, I was short of words.
"you are on my..." I tried to say, but words just couldn't come out of my mouth.
I had just seen a chocolate angel. Well, I have never seen a dark girl this beautiful before. She was just adorable, if I could just put it that way. The smell of her perfume filled the restaurant.
"hey, sorry you said what?" she asked. Probably wanting me to recapitulate what I had just altered But I just stood there, mouth agape like Mr Ibu. Infact I had forgotten my mission there in the first place.
"so... So.. So.. " I tried to say something but I just kept stammering.
"my God wetin dey do me?" I prayed silently. "why my mouth no fit say anything abi, I don dey kolo"
I opened my bottle of water right there in her presence and gulped half of it into my mouth while standing.
"you must be very famished duh" she said with a smile on her face.
I nodded like someone who was deaf and dumb.
"sorry, em am I sitting down on your sit?" she asked.
I shaked my head with a NO.
"temy, you be mumu" my mind told me. "why you no tell her say, na your sit be that".
I frowned but in reality I faked a smile.
"you're a fine boy" she said with a giggle.
I immediately looked at my Nike air max slippers and smiled.
"temy you be fool, you no fit even say common thank you, you just dey smile" my mind said to me but I ignored. I continued looking at my slippers.
"hey darling you're are done. Thank goodness" she said.
"was she talking to me?" I wondered as I looked towards her direction.
Well, sadly it wasn't me. I saw a more handsome, tall and fresh guy with a nylon bag of take away goodies, in his right hand was a car key. He walked towards our direction and held the cute chocolate lady by the hand. They both left me.
"wao. That babe left me speechless" I finally said.
I observed the both of them as they zoomed off in an EOD. I smiled cause I hardly get compliments from strangers.
I was finally brought back to reality by my ex Juliet. Juliet was looking all sweet or lemme put it this way, she was TUSHED UP.
"hey, Juliet what kept you so long?" I asked
"I'm so sorry, my lecturer delayed me. Please don't be offended" she pleaded.
"no wahala o" I said
" how are you" she asked
"I am good as you can see" I said
"how was lectures?" she asked
"fine, thank you. Em, you said you wanted to see me" I asked inquisitively
"yeh, but em... Em. Lets get a drink first, do you want to take something" she asked
"nah, I am good. Thanks" I said
"are you sure?"
"Of course"
"okay. Then lemme tell you, what's on my mind" she finally said.
"okay, no problem. Spill it out. I am all ears" I said
"okay" she said. "please don't get angry with whatever I will tell you" she pleaded
"ah ah ah.. Why are you talking like this?" I asked with a frown on my face
"I don't want you to get angry with me" she said
"but I am not" I said
"okay... I am... I am.. Pregnant" she said.
"you said... What" I asked yet again to confirm what I just heard.
"I am pregnant
