this job is dangerous, i remember one time i was driving along Enugu/Onitsha express way on my way to Awka, there was a long traffic as a result of an accident a tractor fell off a trailer transporting it and fell on top a roadside vulcaniser. it was horrific.

After 10 days on my way back to Onitsha i drove past the same accident spot guess who was vulcaniser at the same spot, the 14 year old son of the dead vulcaniser. I was like what?! I hope he doesn't die the same way as his father, and all this hard and dangerous work is just to put food on the table! it's disheartening.

when inquired if the families of the poor dead man got any compensations from the company who owns the tractor i was told No! they didn't. so unfair.
