Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has slammed President Buhari's personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad over his tweet about President Buhari's achievement in two years.

Ahmad had on Tuesday listed the creation of 40,000 email addresses for government officials as part of the president's achievement.

In reaction, the Bayelsa state senator said "No matter how you spin it, the creation of 40,000 email addresses is not an achievement. Why are these people doing this to President Muhammadu Buhari? A Presidential spokesman should speak because he has something to say, not because he wants to say something. 40, 000 email addresses is saying something. It would have been better to be silent. Opening email account? Really!!!"

Some Nigerians also stormed Ahmad's timeline over the statement and forced him to delete his #PMBtriumpsAt2 tweets.

Galaxy backbone did much more during the Jonathan government, ask anyone working with them. Now they are constrained by money etc. Last year they were struggling to pay their vendors... Early this year, they were struggling with salary payment sef, so what is this spokesman saying?

Anyway, we know why the opening of email is such an achievement to the spokesman. Before Buhari, many of his brothers never knew what email was, many still dont even know how to use MS word, talk more of sending emails. Shiooor!

If you are shocked for this been listed as an achievement, you will fume, if the government tells you about millions of Naira the contract to create these 40k email address cost our government...I am positive that, it is going to be 100s of millions of Naira.
