The truth is the Nigerian youth is ill prepared for leadership. Weak educational backgrounds, no management or leadership skills whatsoever. Before youths take over central leadership, they must demonstrate competence at their current small positions, that you can hardly see. Kogi state governor is an example of a young man who lacks leadership ideas.

Same with Donald Trump, Vladmin Putin and Angela Merkel (but the list is actually endless)

How old was General Olusegun Obasanjo when he (first) ruled Nigeria (for 2 and half years)?

How old was General Muhammad Buhari when he (first) ruled Nigeria (for less than a year)?

How old was General Ibrahim Babangida when he ruled Nigeria (for Eight years)?

All these Men were less than 50s and 40s when they first sat on that seat and Nigeria's population was less than a hundred million.
We are now at tougher times which demands experienced hands.

But you should also note this : These Men ruled under the dispensation they found themselves. If they were civilians and there were political democratic slots at those various times they were yearning to effect changes, (be it by elections or by appointments) they still would have stepped in to serve.

They would not have said 'we are too young to lead'. They appeared when they felt their contributions were needed. It wasn't their fault they woke up with military uniforms on their body.

What matters is to be there when needed and that's why some came back again when they felt needed.

By the way talking about youths leading this Nation: Where is SALISU BUHARI, DIMEJI BANKOLE, PATRICIA ETE etc.
Ever heard their voices again? No!

And you know why They have stolen enough not to feel concern again.
