Haba bros let's leave sentiment aside, the building make sense though e no reach Adenuga towers in terms of design.
Adenuga towers that looks like a child was playing with brown sand. What's with the golden finish.

Its still ugly in my opinion.

Another building to look out for is Eko Towers 2.

Have you seen why Afonjas cry blue murder when igbos say they want to secedehuh

Just imagine that atmosphere had he not DEVELOPED the area.

The funny thing is that some clueless afonja warriors will include this tower and that of other Igbo buildings in Lagos while masturbating on how developed their land is.

I can bet my scrotum the original owner of that piece of land sold it out and relocated farther into the slum.
lol...mumu really has no cure. You will put it at the back of Chisco motors when you wake up from your nightmare.

Anyway you look at it, It's Mutually beneficial but the Yorubas who will collect tax from businesses moving into the tower, tenement rate on the building and the many Yorubas that will be employed from maintenance of the tower to graduate jobs are the ultimate and long term beneficiaries of this project.

Are u telling me this man couldn't hv built this in Port Harcourt or Enugu?
Another reason you CAN NOT "chest beat" with this building is because the financiers, i.e the people who financially funded the construction of this building are actually Yorubas. (GT Bank). It was even solely (100%) funded by them.

https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4196/35037141675_eac3939b17_b.jpg

I am guessing you didn't know that.

And as you might know, GT Bank belongs to the Ooduas.
The building is still Yoruba owned. Once you are done and going to Biafra, Fola Adeola, Segun Agbaje and their team will simply "collect" their building back before you can even blink an eyelid. grin
Lol, guy you are wicked oooo.. Just when i was enjoying their usual chest beating rants,
Re: Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi's Nestoil Tower, Lagos (Video And Photo Documentry) by OmoIgala: 9:54pm On Jun 01, 2017
So Yorubas are even the brainboxes behind the building sef.

This is what everyone has been saying unrelentingly about the Igbos. They think everyone is foolish except themselves.
You allow them to thrive in your land, and before you know it, they will start spitting you. Yorubas are the ones allowing this anyway undecided.
Its like a Pakistani immigrant in USA feeling invincible because he built a big house in another man's country with American bank loans, which he has to pay back triple of.

The Igbos live amongst you, but still hate you. You people dey try.

And who says he is not working in his home state Anambra?? You can't just seat in Enugu and conclude he is not working in Igbo land. Come to Okija first before comparing

Honestly speaking though
These Igbos are such despicable things, eew.

How many times have we seen Hausa people come here to boast about the multimillion Dollar refinery Dangote is building in Ajah?

Left to me, Hausas are better than these people in all element of character. They were just unfortunate to have been radicalised by Islam in the not too distant past.

A thread on a magnificent structure that should evoke interest on the design, firm, location, possible recruitment processes etc gets derailed by tribal warlords. Same tribal warlords I am cocksure made their comments using generators, they do not have constant power supply, their father or mother do not work there, yet they went ballistic with their tribalism.

A similar thread on Dezeen or Skyscrapercity will bring out comments by admirers, architects, civil engineers, valuers etc.

Kudos to Nestoil, the Nlders who made sensible comments, ACCL ditto the cretinuous fvcktards for derailing what would have become an interesting thread.

Keep fooling yourselves that the project was funded by GTB bank, therefore the building is owned by the bank .Awolowo free education indeed so cheap in quality. You think you can just walk into bank and get fund or loan just because have six lane express- way tribal mark on each of your cheek, plus cone shaped-head.without providing security to back up such huge fund?Do you how the consortium of Nigrian banks that provided fund when MTN took off in Nigeria,by your line of reasoning MTN is no longer South Africa's company.Such huge Project is usually funded by bank and even Insurance companies in some way.even if you like comfort you self with the lie that GTB own NESTOIL,it doesn't change that faxct that Igbo own 70% of real estate in lagos and Abuja.

Don't mind them. Too many illiterates from biafrua.d land. They just hate to use their brain. Always whipping up sentiments and senseless emotions towards simple issues that require common sense. On one hand they are foolishly jubilating that their brother owns a property in Lagos and on the other hand they are senselessly crying biafrua.d. So they expect their responsible igbo brothers to leave their investments in other part of the country and support a useless miscreant called kanu to agitate for biafrua.d. Ipods wey their life don kpafuka they find people wey go follow them join poverty. Tufiakwa!

Did you read the part that said Nestoil has been in partnership with GTBank for over a decade?
Their partnership predates the construction of this building, and it will continue into the foreseeable future.

In case you don't know what it is called, this building is one of GTBank's hard assets.

Rich ibos would never support break up of nigeria. Only poor ibos that have nothing to lose.

Modified: So the building was 100% financed by an afonja bank...lol. Useless thread.
