lol.. Push up builds mostly your arms,shoulders and chest muscles. It also trains some muscles close to your abs too but doesnt burn fat...... Except you turn your push ups into a cardio workout... But doing your push ups real fast... Which is impossible.

sit ups burn no fats o. Do cardio work outs for losing belly fat. Sit ups just tightens the abs and strenghtens them.

You can 'spot jog' in your room daily for carcio

I believe you are joking, because exercise can help those who properly engage in it. You don't have to over-eat to exercise.

For a good result, you should engage in bodyweight exercises, abdominals, and cardio. Eating healthy is also key.

Football is good, but you can incorporate other programs, cardio, abdominals and strength training.

One hour for a beginner? You do Primary School before Secondary School. Right? I encourage you to start small. The problem is you started bigger than your body could handle based on your current fitness level. You should have jogged like 15 minutes, and then increased the length as you improved. Don't condemn jogging based on your ugly experience which was actually occasioned by your wrong application of techniques and over-exertion. Jogging is beautiful.

While it is true the best way to burn fat is via cardio such as jogging/running, rope jumping, brisk walking, swimming, biking, dancing, and so forth, bodyweight exercises such as sit up, pull up, press up, and weight lifting build strength and muscles. They can also burn a little fat during the workout, and but more fat in the long run. The reason is bodyweight and weight lifting build muscles and muscles require more calories to be maintained, which will help you burn more fat in the long run.
