This question is a very serious one. There has been misplaced definitions of an unbeliever in Christianity. The unbeliever is one who DO NOT believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit does not dwell in such people. Buh if by 'unbeliever' in dis context, u mean a believer who commits sin( stealing,lying,adultry etc) then; On the cross, Jesus took our sins away FOREVER (Jn 1:29, Heb 10:14). This is the sole reason the Holy Spirit of God NEVER departs from us(believers). God's new way of grace is permanent relationship with Him, permanent indwelling by the Holy Spirit no matter what. The bible said in Heb 8:12, Even wen we commit sin, He remembers it no more. The Holy Spirit is sealed within us forever and He will NEVER leave us or Forsake us (Eph 1:13-14, Heb 13:5).

The Holy Spirit is more like a remote control that we all have. Only those who understand the manual of operations could activate Him.

Whether you believe or not, the Holy Spirit speaks to everyone. However, how would you hear when you don't understand his language or choose not to listen (for surface believers)? Or when you're ignorant of his existence and hence his activation(for unbelievers)?

I beg to differ... the Holy Spirit can only be given to those who believe in God's only begotten Son; Jesus Christ. It is the Holy Spirit that then convicts you of your sin by reminding you of God's word. The unbeliever is not in Christ Jesus and light has nothing to do with darkness. So no, the unbeliever does not have the Holy Spirit.

There's "holy spirit WITHIN" and "holy spirit UPON". "Holy spirit within" is always present in the lives of the believers while "holy spirit UPON " is the one that comes to the unbelievers when God wants to use them to convey a message to an individual or group of people, they are just vessels even though, they may be dirty vessels.

I see that you can access the Bible, everything in the Holy Bible confirms the Lordship of Jesus Christ. No one seats on the right hand of God except Jesus. Jesus is the Word and Spirit of God. Everything was created through Him.

Yes...Christian or not... in New Testament times..... man has both Holy and Evil spirits preloaded in their hearts. You as a person choose the path you want to take in life...one step at a time. Whenever you choose to do something...mainly on the evil/bad side.... the inner Holy Spirit will warn you. ... do not do it.... the decision is still yours. As in...very common... I was about having sex with this babe I wanted a longggg time and as I was about to...'my mind' kept saying no.... but I did it anyway. Now here I am.... HIV positive... Now let's pause, will an unbeliever ask God for holy Spirit when he doesn't even believe in God? for what purpose will he ask for it? what does he want to do with it?

How does holy Spirit work in someone who doesn't even have the light of Christ in him or her?

Only believers who ask God sincerely for the Holy Spirit for the sake of his purpose will he give it to. not to the unbelievers because they wont even ask.

The Holy Spirit is without any doubt presence in everybody because He's God's breathe(Spirit)which makes all human a living being,the day you die signify the depature of God's breathe,i.e.Spirit within you-Genesis1vs26!let us made man in our own image,after our likeness...evaluate!
Secondly,i remember vividly that i was previledge to see the only HOLY SPIRIT physically while i was a reached sinner;quote me!
Nevertheless,the Holy Spirit become more potent,real and materialistic to human when we saved or when you God's favourite.
Note-it was the Holy Spirit who led the Isrealites out of Egypt by signs/wonders thru Moses,same Holy Spirit activated the power of God in the rod of Moses which parted the red sea but moment the Isrealites sinned,the Holy Spirit quits their congregation and their enemies sets in,torment and prevailed over them-Isaiah63vs10!therefore,the Holy Spirit is present in human being(1st John5vs8)but not many are been led by this Holy Spirit.Lots have given their hearts to other spirits which are majorly satanic spirits,e.g.prostitution is an act of sleeping around for monetary rewards but it's a spirit operating in human hearts,samething with stealing,lies,witch crafts,etc.They are all spirits but dwells/operates in the hearts of men/women.
