Please I need help, I am confused what should I do?

Let me start by introducing my self, My name is farouk and I am a muslim, I came from a family that gave zero tolerance to religion, specifically my dad he doesn't care about religion in fact he didn't give us proper orientation about islam. Thank God to my mom she is a religious person because she came from a well known religious family but she end up marrying a man that has non Islam background,he just answer his name as a Muslim but he hardly put it into practice he doesn't follow congregation prayer, always condemning Muslims.

I love my dad and my mom so much , I can't even describe it in words how I love them. But the religion issue in my family is my big problem and threat that am facing.

my thought about my religion? yes I love my religion, I knew that the religion is already deep down inside me, I only need someone to help me found the religion that is in me, I have little knowledge about it, I also feel sick and detest it when someone insult my religion but thank God I have self control.

How I wish I was born in a religious family,

What you need isn't religion but a healthy and loving relationship with your God and Creator.

Religion is what man does in his attempt to please the Divine.

A relationship is a Bond based on mutual acceptance and love.

Does God know you as His own?
When He does, you have a relationship. Its not about religion. No religion in this world can save, only God!

Thanks for the insight, but someone cannot create a healthy relationship with his God without knowing the God.

And the only way to know your God is through his books and scriptures.

Of course, you are right.
He should start with the Torah, the Zabur and the books of the prophets in between and then the Injeel.

His quest should be knowing this God so as to have a relationship with Him.
