Just follow everything, a mail for activation will be sent to you, after activation, you will need to login your created Mi Account, on these page you used to register. That's all.

I've activated both my email and phone number. The MI account on my phone now shows an ID. How does the find my phone feature and remotely locking the phone work? Does it work in Nigeria?

Of course it does, hope you activated find my device, it's there under Mi Cloud.
You can login to mi cloud on pc to or phone browser to access other features of find my device.

I did, is there anything else I need to activate? So say this phone is wiped right now, it's going to request for MI log in details for the person to log in right?

You guys have always been saying tecno and the likes are only ripping us off, now I totally believe it. Less than 24 hours with my Redmi 4x and I'm loving it, if Xiaomi doesn't change the way they do things, I'm definitely sticking with them. Got my Redmi 4x for less than 32k(minus logistics fee) and here I am having a device that's better than most midrange tecno phones out there. Everything works perfectly fine and when it's time to change phone, I'll definitely choose Xiaomi again.
How did you get it for less than 32k

Sure , placed order to replace RMN2 PRIME which needed battery replacement, unfortunately it delayed until I took delivery of 2 batteries I placed for almost 3 weeks later. Have to United with the redmi note 2 before RMN4 came. Interest diminished

Basically you can receive funds from clients or fund it through various way, use the funds to shop online (widely acceptable) without issues and even withdraw funds from local ATMs. To pay in with local currency, all you have to do is give the bank your Payoneer account details, with the amount and they will fund it, works like a transfer.
