Trump invited Comey for dinner. He first asked him if he wants and likes his job. Then as the conversation progresses he asked for comey's loyalty. Comey promised to give him honesty. Trump changed his words to honest loyalty. He invited Comey to the white house, had a one on one conversation with Comey. Trump asked Comey to let the Michael Flynn investigation go calling Flynn a good guy. Comey promised to hasten the investigation. Trump called Comey and asked him to make the cloud surrounding his Russian campaign probe go away. He assured Comey he did nothing wrong even though his campaign staff might. Trump fired Comey.

You conveniently left out this part where Comey said

I did not understand the President to be talking about the broader investigation into Russia or possible links to his campaign.

I explained that we had briefed the leadership of Congress on exactly which individuals we were investigating and that we had told those Congressional leaders that we were not personally investigating President Trump. I reminded him I had previously told him that. He repeatedly told me, "We need to get that fact out."

The President went on to say that if there were some "satellite" associates of his who did something wrong, it would be good to find that out, but that he hadn't done anything wrong and hoped I would find a way to get it out that we weren't investigating him.

January 6, and, as he had done previously, expressed his disgust for the allegations and strongly denied them. He said he was considering ordering me to investigate the alleged incident to prove it didn't happen. I replied that he should give that careful thought because it might create a narrative that we were investigating him personally, which we weren't, and because it was very difficult to prove a negative. He said he would think about it and asked me to think about it.

So Trump wanted Comey to investigate the so called pee tape and never asked Comey to stop any Russian collusion investigation (in fact he wanted to know if someone in his team was complicit). He was frustrated Comey told him multiple times he is not under investigation but wont say it in public. The only bad part from Trump in these statement is the Micheal Flynn but Comey isnt even saying Trump obstructed that investigation

You do not expect Comey to jump into conclusion do you? Ofcourse, Comey expressly told Congress that he is not investing Trump personally. We all know that. I need loyalty, I expect loyalty. Those are the notable words of Trump to an FBI director who is investigating his campaign.

Like seriously? How did I conclude? Again, Comey told Congress that he is not personally Investigating him. We all know that. But we also know that Trump was in control of his campaign team, so he can't be left out of the investigation. It is a Trump campaign that led to his victory. The FBI is an independent body here Missy, and President needs to be careful when it deals with an independent agency. Asking an employee if he likes his job before telling him you expect loyalty speaks volumes, it rattles an employee who loves his job and wants to keep it. Telling him to let an investigation go speaks volumes. To clear the Russian cloud while voicing out your displeasure of what is going on is indirectly telling a employee your want the probe to end in your favor and it goes on.
