Everyone should seek the path of peace but that path starts with fairness and justice, which seems never to be the case in Nigeria. Enough is enough. So-called elites who don't want progress can't continue to hold an entire nation down. It's one thing to be power-hungry but use it for development, it's another thing entirely when it's used to stagnate and retrogress.

The question is: Why did they stop bombing in the first place?

Did they suddenly develop love for Buhari or is the otueke hippo (their godmother) not still receiving the grilling of her life?

Answer: Previously our soldiers were being frustrated and drowned because the terrorists had superior knowledge of the creeks and waters; UNTIL the military discovered that the perfect insecticide was using the Air-Force to bombard the terrorists from the air and destroying their targets with their helicopter gunships.

Ever since that strategy was implemented, we haven't heard "ween" from the creeks.

The Air-force is ready; bring it on.

Give me a writeup about this your reconstruction scheme.
Again, I'm allergic to ipob octopus. You better say something what reading.

u can by allergic to IPOB but remember IPOB is like the unruly goat that bleats foods for other hungry cowardly goats in a ranch.
having said this, restructuring calls for general inputs of all the ethnic nationalities sitting on a sovereign national conference.
the main purpose is devolve more powers from the centre to enable constituent states or regions to be more competitive in their economic developments at their own pace. it will enable constituent units to have its own police system while army should be maintained by centre. it will enable each unit develop its own power source without recourse to national grid, embark on its infrastructural development without hinderance from centre these includes international airports and sea ports.it will enable state prospects and exploits for its natural resources and return 50% proceeding to the centre.

these obviously involve many areas of our national life but let me stop here.

The oil blocs were sold to the northerners in a transparent due process in a country called Nigeria. Its just that it was only that most of your biz men did not care to develeop theirs but rather went to invest elsewhere.

But you should also be educated that the wells were sold to most your people too.I think out of 30 wells the north only got like 6 while the rest remained witcha..

The only difference is while most northern biz developed theirs and started exploration, the southern brothers did not put theirs into exploration.

When the referendum is completed and we have separated, then the reclamation, ownership and revalidation of such assets that exist in the north and south will be shared according the kaduna declaration.

Hope this helps.
Nothing like that. Pack your bags too and leave.

Lol! cool

The recent agitation and unrest is because people are frustrated. No light, electricity, job, etc yet the elites(from all geo-political regions) in the country are whining in wealth with their children graduating from harvard and co.

If all basic amenities, job availability, etc are available, would there be tension in the country?

All our past and present leaders has failed us.

That line actually fooled many people. I remember the excitement here with people thinking a new change had come. Reality has shown otherwise, just take a look at the SSS recruitment 56 from Katsina alone while the entire South had less than 10. Same trend with other appointments too.

Belong to everybody indeed.

LOL! A new improved one!

wristbangle:

Thank you very much for the insightful comment sir. People have quoted hence lashing insult on me but I like the way you countered my statement with superior argument.

However I understand and get your message clearly but the essence of my statement is that we know how blood lust these northerners are, so we should be careful not to lose our tribe men/women duelling in their region to violence.

I have lost counts on how easterners and westeners throw jibes at each other of which no matter how intense it may be, can never lead to physical violence.

Lol! Thank you. I have insulted only three persons here on Nairaland not like I'm innocent.

See how the 'Buhari' dog saga started only to find out that the accuser started it. Exactly, we know how bloodthirsty they can be and this is why they always leverage on that because we Southerners (apart from the vices here) value lives and honestly, it's time we here in the South teach them that not only one tribe has the monopoly of violence. You cannot see anyone attack another of different ethnicity because of our approach to hold lives sacred. We tend to cage the beast within but their hordes release theirs and this is due to their elites using religion as tools.

Funny enough if this issues escalates the afonja's will suffer more. Reason is simple, they have more Muslims than any other tribe living in the north. These northerners see them as number 1 infidels and take care of them before visiting other tribes and religions. If you ever witnessed any crises in the north you'll understand.

If the North was truly confident that they have what it takes to stand alone and prosper, I'm sure they wouldn't stand in the way of true federalism. As it is, despite all the funding and aid money, the region struggles on basic indices compared to the rest of the country. That says a lot.

Wrong, it was ND, and even it was Arepo as you wrongly claimed, a militant is a militant anywhere, and the Air-force can fly everywhere.

Peruse the links I provided with the video for confirmation that it was in the creeks of the SS.

A word is enough for the wise.

Saw the video, had seen it before, that was the Arepo pipeline vandals.
In effect, it was Buhari's ill advised air bombing of the creeks of Cross rivers state that set the stage for resumed hostilities, so my good friend, Buhari's stick has never worked the Delta, only his carrot.
