I didn't keep the Inspector's contact though, but be rest assured that once you get to Force CID; they will hustle you themselves. Just be firm and hold your ground while negotiating irrespective of their guile.
Some would even tell you 15,000naira but what you can offer is what you present.

Thnks alot for the tip.

did your assessor state the reason why he/she asked for a new episode?
He was confused.... I applied for Assessment as an Electronic Engineer ... However, My episodes were neither fully Electrical nor fully Electronic.... Actually, one was fully Electrical, one was fully Electronic, and the third was both Electrical and Electronic..... So he said these episodes support an outcome of Professional Electrical Engineer and Professional Electronic Engineer,,, to finally classify me,, I should write a new episode..

And I was like, okay I prefer an outcome of Professional Electrical Engineer.... So I wrote another Purely Electrical episode.... And stated in the reply that professional Electrical engineer was my preference..

Imagine my surprise to see an outcome of Electronic Engineer grin

But I no vex at all... Cos if his confusion had made him give me Technologist, the journey would have ended. smiley

in conclusion - I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9 : 11)

God Bless

All dollar domiciled cards issued by Nigerian banks, can make such payment.

Yes your right but most cards here have a limit of $5000 per day and with the conversion, 7200 AUD is about 5400$, so that's over the limit already. I need cards with greater limit.

Thanks for your response. Lolz eyah @ bolded.

OlalekanKad:
The main reason for Statutory declaration is to avoid all what you've highlighted yourself. Infact, some company policies in Nigeria prevents most managers or supervisors to issue letter of reference in company letter head paper to staffs because some of them are not straight in their ways with you and some doesn't want their company letter headed paper flying up and down so they place restrictions. A statutory declaration will make sense in your case so far you put the persons email address and phone number under his/her signature. Please do note that VETASSES makes contact with referees, be sure the person's phone number will be reachable and he/she is available to pick their calls during the duration of the assessment, I heard of a case where the referee was dropping the assessment body calls severally thinking it was a spam call, so make sure your contact knows about the process too. Having said that, there are several cases where they don't even call so it's based on different cases.

Apologies, I don't entertain private message. If you ask your question here, I believe justice would be done to it.

Thanks for the understanding.
Oga Bellong and the gurus in house, please assist with this questions:
Does EA access certificates from private universities in Nigeria? Someone implied that it's oonly state and federal universities certificates that get a positive assessment.
Secondly, can a computer engineering graduate be accessed by EA as an engineer? I know it's ICT related and can be accessed by ACS but ICT is more competitive..
Thanks for your kind responses..

More suggestions on the most preferred option please... Cheers.

SegunWamiri:
My people greetings to you all. On the issue of statement of service when submitting employment evidence to VETASSES, I need some clarification. Though my wife works with one of the Telecom companies but recruitment of staff was outsourced to independent service contractors. As it is now, she has worked at two different positions in the company being managed by two different service contractors.

My question is that is she to obtain references from the contractors or from the Main company? In case none of these parties is willing to provide the statement of service, I'm currently considering a statutory declaration using the main company as reference as I think it would make the process more straight forward instead of involving the two separate contractors. Please what do you think guys?

I concur GTB Dollar Master debitcard ( AUD1.26= $1) will suffice; no spending limit via POS/online.

@Pushy8 Yes computer engineering graduate be accessed by EA as an engineer.

Secondly, what is your current/past Job role as ACS seems to be highly competitive if you don't have ICT certifications like CCNP, CCDP and others.

This is in accurate. All banks uses a "No limit" for web/POS transactions. Except of course the card request for such a limit

I concur

Same also goes for all nigerian commercial banks issuing USD debit card.

Also don't forget the bank charges when making conversion...
I always add 5 USD for every 100 USD transactions

This information is absolutely incorrect, dont scare people with such assertion and misinformation.

I had no drop of certification nor BSc in IT for 1st degree buh still got a positive outcome in 14days.

So abeg, take am easy with such info before you relegate some people to #GMPC

Official rate is 237.5 to 1 AUD.

Emmmmm that's wrong. For the past month and half, I have been sending direct bank deposit from OZ to banks in Nigeria(Diamond, Zenith and First bank...in fact the rate was the same in all banks) and it was between 260-262 per $1 AUD. Then 2 weeks ago it dropped to 258 naira/dollar. 2 days ago it was 259 Naira/1 AUD
