Mr Akinwunmi Ambode took over the mantle of Leadership in Lagos State on the 29th of May 2015.

Before that, he served in the civil service for 27 years and was also a financial consultant.

Upon assuming office, Ambode pledged to build on the success of the past Lagos Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola. He vowed to turn Lagos into a megacity, with world class infrastructure and adequate security.

Two years into his administration, it will be unfair to use mere words-of-mouth to classify what the Governor has achieved in Lagos State. There’s a saying that “A picture is worth a thousand words”, so therefore, where our words can’t do justice in describing Governor Ambode’s grandiose achievements, let the pictures speak for itself.


In the usual words of the Governor; Lagos Means Business. We all agree, but I’ll tweak that and say, not just Lagos alone means business, Ambode means business. #ItesiwajuEko

Lagos state is always lucky to have good and hardworking governors and Ambode should wake up to his responsibilities. Buildings a few startures here and there are not the only responsibilities of a Governor.
