He is just embezlling. It's fasholas structures that's still on ground.

Haha, now you are understanding why things dont always work in Nigeria.

In Lagos like many other states (if not all) in Nigeria, the State govt collects revenue and distributed then to the local govt which is an incredibly pathetic way of running things. The local govt, cities or communities should raise revenue by themselves through local property taxes and use it to take care of there needs. This is how things work in developed climes. If you own land or house (not when you are renting o), you pay a certain tax to the local govt be it city or municipal and this is used to provide schools, policing and emergency services. That is how things should be in Nigeria.

No Wonder somebody wrote sometime ago "How Lagos is under developing Nigeria"

Development has come to Lagos so rapidly and it is increasing geometrically, that the other parts of Nigeria are left to rot away....

If Lagos were an economy it will b d 5th richest and biggest economy in Africa all thanks to progressive govts in Lagos.....

Lagos is so beautiful that Other not so big cities across Africa are learning from.

Fine, due to the coastal areas in Lagos, they are mostly flooded during the rainy season, and this isn't exclusive to Lagos, but it occurs in more developed places of the world eg UK, US etc..

Lagos has got slums.. Major cities of the world too have got slums..

Lagos is working and moving.... The only state richer than 30Nigerian States combined...

We love our beautiful Lagos... The only modern City in Nigeria that can compete with other major cities of Africa.

Instead of simply showing pictures upandan, he should share statistics of improvement in:

- % of children enrolled in free schools.
- ratio of teachers to students, classrooms to students, laboratory/library chairs to students.
- % of Lagos state where tap water is available.
- ratio of doctors to population of the state.

Let me not forget the light rail project that has been going on forever.
It is obvious that a governor who cannot make the state budget available publicly has a lot to hide.
Maybe that is why he is busy doing local government chairman work upandan.
